  1. Hi, I'm thinking of putting my copy of Atari Jaguar Painter and the Native demo CD up on eBay, but thought I would offer it here first. The Painter is complete in DVD style case and Native demo came with my copy of Protector SE (not included). You need a JagFree CD compatible cartridge to play these disc games. I believe Protector SE is one such cartridge, but there are others. I'm not sure what these are worth, but please feel free to e-mail me offers at joe@tillenterprises.com. You can buy one or the other or both. I will post an update if I accept an offer and they are sold. Payment by Paypal is preferred. Thanks!
  2. Alcazar for Colecovision complete in box (Just a note: I had a couple AA members ask me about it before I listed it and I reserve the right to cancel auction early and sell it to them if they choose to make me an offer and I accept it.) Link here: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140505320496
  3. Hello, I've been looking at some of my game collection and my checkbook, and come to realization that I may have to part with a few games. I have Alcazar: The Forgotten Fortress by Activision, complete in box for Colecovision. I bought it almost a decade ago from Telegames, before they discontinued selling "classic" game software in 2004. I have no idea what it's worth, but I thought I would mention it here first to see if anybody has any interest before putting it up on ebay. I also have a few other games in the box or case that are hard to find for Colecovision that I may have to part with, including Campaign '84 in the box (no manual), Flipper Slipper, Oil's Well, Telly Turtle, Facemaker, Jukebox, Wacky Word Games, and some others that I'm not 100% sure I want to sell, but I would be open to offers. By the way, I also have Conquest of the WOrld, Quest for the Rings, and Wall Street Fortune Hunt for Odyssey2. I believe they are complete. Please feel free to contact me at joe@tillenterprises.com if you have any interest, if not, I'll probably just put them up on eBay this week. Thanks!
  4. How much is the LeStick worth? I tried a search on eBay, but couldn't find any results. I dug mine out and was thinking of selling it, but that suggestion to use it with Decathlon is a great idea!
  5. I'm selling my copy of Castle Blast, which came out in 2002. No reserve, auction ends in a day. Thanks and Happy New Year! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140370390747
  6. I'm pretty sure the problem lies with the BIOS chip at location U2. Does anybody know where I can get one of these chips?- Anybody have extra Colecovision parts, or can someone program one of these chips for me?
  7. All the chips are soldered in- I don't see any socketed chips. Is there any PCB diagram that states what each chip is for? By the way, I like your avatar!
  8. I have a Colecovision that just gives a blank screen and sometimes hums when turned on. I checked the usual suspects- RF connection, power supply, dirty on/off switch, and finally opened it up, and saw a sticker on the chip located at location U2, looks like it was serviced or the problem diagnosed at one time. Does anybody know what this chip is, or how I can get a new one? I might also try replacing the Z80 processor. Thanks for any help!
  9. Very well said. You can have every video game ever made, but it won't matter to you at all when you die. It only matters where you're going. I think Jesus said it best in Matthew 6:19-21
  10. I didn't get into Jaguar until the early 2000's. I was raised with the 2600 and Atari arcade games and didn't show alot of interest in the Jaguar when it came out. I always thought the base unit looked cool (without the CD player which makes it look like a toilet). I bought my first used Jag on eBay and a few games and believe it or not, really liked Cybermorph. I ended up on a mission to collect every Jaguar game and homebrews, including both versions of Battlesphere (now sold since I needed the cash), Air Cars (now sold since I needed the cash and didn't really care for the game anyway). I haven't really played the Jag much over the last few years, but last night, for some reason, I had the urge to hook it up and play a few games. Looking back on the system now, I think some of the games are great, others look like boring 16 bit Sega Genesis-era games. I would say in my opinion, about 30% of the Jag games are great, about 30% are good and the rest mediocre to poor. I think the great games (worth picking up a Jag for) are Tempest, Aliens Vs Predator, Flip Out, Battlesphere, Battlemorph, Flip Out, Protector, Missile Command, Dragon's Lair, SKyhammer, Zero 5, and Breakout 2000 Some of the good titles are also available for other systems of the era, but if you already have a Jaguar, I think you should check these out: Pitfall, Doom, Zoop, Raiden, Defender 2000, Wolfenstein, Cannon Fodder, Atari Karts, and Rayman (beautiful graphics!) Hit or Miss titles (these are so-so, but in my opinion, nothing to get too excited about): both pinball games, the skiing game (the name ecapes me right now), Soccer Kid, Bubsy, Zool 2, most of the fighting games (except for Double Dragon which is terrible), Syndicate, Trevor Mc Fur, Attack of Mutant Penguins, the soccer games, Brutal football Avoid: Double Dragon, Club Drive, Air Cars I still prefer the Atari 2600, 5200 and 7800, but being an official Atari product, the Jaguar has a place in my heart!
  11. You mean Obama without his teleprompter to Einstein...
  12. How could I forget "Pete Rose Baseball!" I bought that game back in the day for the 7800, and was so impressed with the graphics and gameplay after the crappy 2600 Home Run game I grew up with, and then in the late 90's, I discovered that they also released a version for the 2600, and was expecting it to be lousy. When I saw and played it for the first time, and realized that it's almost the same as the 7800 version, I was and still am amazed! If that game had come out in 1982, it would have singlehandedly shut up the Intellivision George Plimpton commercial which compared how good the Intv sports games were to the 2600. It almost looks like the Colecovision baseball, too!
  13. Okay, not sure why you posted this... What's the point? Go post this on a Nintendo fan website. I find most Atari games to be much more fun than NES. I've tried to get into NES games, but with a few exceptions never really could. Give me Megamania or H.E.R.O. over Zelda or Super Mario anyday. To each his own...
  14. I remember my jaw dropping when I bought Pitfall II in 1984 and popping it in my Atari. The waterfalls, the balloon, and just how big the game was amazed me. I also was blown away when my friend showed me the Ms. Pac-Man game he just bought and saw how good it was, after how disappointing Pac-Man was. I bought Stargate when it came out, and felt the same way, although I did like the Atari 2600 Defender. Stargate looked and played very much like the arcade, even though I'm not crazy about having to use both joysticks. As for the newer homebrew games, Ladybug, Medieval Mayhem, and Toyshop Trouble are amazing.
  15. Yeah, I hear ya! I just realized that nobody cares that I have one of every variation of the 2600, and I need the extra space! I thought this would be a good auction for the hardcore Atari collector that just wants the core system by itself, and doesn't need all the extra stuff. If anybody's interested, I might be interested in trading these for some games, or stuff! Let me know and I'll pull the auctions!
  16. I decided to start downsizing my collection. I have these nice sixers - console only, so it would be perfect for a collector who doesn't need all the games and controllers and stuff with it. One of the auctions is for a Sears Heavy Sixer! So far no bids and theres only a day left. If I don't get start getting any bids, I'll probably just pull the auctions and keep them, or use them for trade bait. Thanks! Here's the link: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/tillenterprises
  17. The small, local bowling alley up the street from our house when I was a teenager had the 1981 cops n' robbers game "THIEF" and after school, I would walk up there and play the heck out of it! It's still one of my favorites, and I now have one in my basement! I now also own many of my other favorites, but I agree that the ambience and the settings of our memories plays a large part in naming our favorites! -Like Going to a Bonanza restaurant (long gone now) with my parents and seeing a Centipede for the first time. I was instantly hooked, and that still may be my all-time favorite... -Playing Galaxian on the cocktail version at the local Pizza Hut while waiting for our pizza -Seeing a Pac-Man for the first time at an army base in Indiana -Playing Battlezone for the first time at a local bowling alley -Playing Moon Patrol for the first time at a little mini-golf place in Georgia with my family Just way too many great memories... the 80's were just awesome- life was simpler, the music was fun, the fashions and style was cool, and we had a great president!
  18. I was wondering if somebody was going to bring up this commercial on the forums! I was watching the Jets game in between dozing off and on on the couch. According to my wife, I was sound asleep when I awoke suddenly to the Atari/Lexus commercial, yelling about the Atari in it! When I'm sleeping, nothing can get my attention, but I guess I'm programmed to wake up for old game sounds. I've been in this hobby for too long... Great commercial, BTW!
  19. Mine, thanks for looking! http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...tillenterprises
  20. If you're using the controller on the Video Arcade II system, there is a button on the console to push to use the controller as a paddle, and then you would just the buttons on the side of the controller, just like on the original Atari paddle controllers. They work great as paddle controllers, but I prefer the bigger knob of the original Atari paddles.
  21. Here are my favorites from back in the day: 1)Megamania 2)Kaboom! 3)Keystone Kapers 4)Space Invaders 5)Frankenstein's Monster 6)Ms. Pac-Man 7)Demon Attack 8)Haunted House 9)Frostbite 10)Plaque Attack 11)H.E.R.O. 12)Moon Patrol 13)Defender 14)Dragonfire 15)Fantastic Voyage 16)River Raid 17)Adventure 18)Seaquest 19)Ram It/Sqeeze Box 20)Circus Atari Of the new homebrews: 1) Ladybug 2) Toyshop Trouble 3) Medieval Madness 4) Stratogems Deluxe 5) Man Goes Down (was this ever released yet?) 6) Fall Down 7) Starfire Gingerbread Man 9) This Planet Sucks 10) Oystron
  22. I've noticed that pop culture usually comes back in style in 20 year increments. In the 70's, music and icons of the 50's were real popular- American Graffitti, Happy Days, Grease, etc.. The in 80's, the 60's became popular again- Vietnam movies, tie-dye t shirts, Monkees reunion, etc., and of course the 90's gave us "that 70's show. I noticed in the early 2000's, I was able to sell my Atari stuff and Pac-Man stuff at a premium. Now I'm lucky if I get a fraction of that. Insofar as age goes, I do think that 35ish is the time that you start reminscing about the stuff you had as a kid, now that you're grown, have bills and a mortgage to worry about, and the pressures of raising a family, it's nice to be a kid again for a few minutes and play Atari!
  23. mine: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...tillenterprises I also have a nice Colecovision complete in the box, and a NES top loader with 2 dogbone controllers in mint condition (not in box) that I was thinking of putting up on eBay. If you're interested in either, make me an offer! Thanks for looking!
  24. Hi! I've been looking for decent boxes for the following Activision games for my loose carts: DOLPHIN , CHECKERS , & TENNIS. If you don't have the empty box, but have a complete one or ones in a decent box for sale, I would probably be interested in buying the complete ones, too. Please let me know! Thanks! Joe
