    Finally got the new Dennis DeYoung Album in the mail today! I'm currently listening to it and so far I like the whole thing. It's a sonic soundscape and, while some reviews call it cynical, I think a better term is timely. This is classic DeYoung and his voice is almost timeless.

      Listened to two songs of his new album and yes, I like them, so will definitely order the album... (I like both "worlds" Shaw + DDY). Besides, I have three nice A8 drawings (not done by me!) of 1980s pop stars, one of them is DDY...

      Hehe, harddisk 1 = Win XP, 32 Bit, harddisk 2 = MS-DOS 6.22, 16 Bit. The old dual-core PC still has a FDC, so I can boot from 3,5" or 5,25" diskette (both floppy types are installed)...

      the swedish original "real humans" ended after only two seasons! And errmm, regarding humans (the british series), only the first two seasons are available in german language, the third season is not (english only, since several years now)...

      Don Johnson - still listen to his albums today! And "Under the Boardwalk" by Bruce Willis was also a hit here in Germany. Even the unknown stuntman, Lee Majors, scored one or two hits here.

    Hmmm, in 1986 or so I bought a JVC tapedeck. They gave a lifetime warranty to their JVC "Sen-Alloy" (sp?) heads. Yesterday my record+play SA head died. Do you think JVC will still replace the head so I can use the tapedeck again ?

      record did not work anymore for more than a year, only playback did; but since yesterday even playback gives only silence, no matter what tape I insert - all other functions (rewind, fforward, etc.) seem still to be working. Does this have to do with the leads under the head ?!?
