  1. Version 7.4

    Updates:

    1. I switched Mario back to the colors from 7.2, and I tweaked the brightness of some of the colors.
    2. Retains graphic tweaks -- New Ramp Girders and other minor tweaks.
    3. 5200 Alternate is an option, as my 5200 seems to display similar to the PAL palette, even though all are NTSC. When hacking DK Jr, Playsoft notices his 5200 colors varied too.

I made the 5200 alternate, as I have only tested these versions on Altirra, version 2.71.

  2. Looks like you can now submit your podcast to Google Play, but I can't browse any yet. It's that new...

    https://play.google.com/music/podcasts/portal/

Yes. For anyone hosting through Wordpress. Play enforcers strict rules on RSS feed syntax. Wordpress is errantly sometimes generating multiple enclosure tags when there should only be 1. For those episodes Google will reject it.

Google offered no support when I opened a ticket, other than fix the feed.

Wordpress has engaged the dev team and confirmed the problem. As a work around until it's fixed, if an episode does this, copy the post contents, delete it, create new post, paste contents, alter publish date to match original.

Ps. There is great debate over the allowance of multiple enclosures in a post feed.

  3. Apologies. The feed size was getting to big so I changed how it is being organized to cut it down. All the screenshots were making the feed huge. In doing so, I created two web posts - one for the podcast media, one for the supplemental data. I thought I would be clever and hide the podcast media post so the website retained the look it always has. It appears that also hides it from the RSS. I've fixed it, and asked for a feed refresh. You should see it soon.

Also, I've restored the download link in the supplemental web post since many of you download directly.

The only downside to this is there are now two posts on the website for each episode. I've tried to make them easy to pick apart. The one with "- Supplemental" will be the one you are used to seeing. The other one will only have a download link and the front cover box art.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if the new formats are not working or otherwise difficult to use.
