  1. I once found Waterworld in the box with the comic (but no manual-sooo close!) for $2--that was part of the same stash that had the Fireworld championship photos that I found. Sadly, the store I got 'em from, Edlies, doesn't exist anymore. As I noted elsewhere, I got the 5 Avalon Hill games with the manuals for $2 a different time. The Avalon Hill stuff was part of 19 games I found in that one store that day--a stash that also included my all-time top rarity, Glib. That was at Microplay in Suffolk county, which I don't think is there anymore, but I rarely get that far out on Long Island anymore. So if anyone wants to sell me a Waterworld manual...
  2. After a weekend of searching for games and coming up empty (and the guy who I posted about yesterday 'changed his mind'--grrrr), I need some hope. What's the best find you ever made and how'd you come across it?
  3. You got a really nice deal if you got 9 for 20 bucks. I sold two extras I had on ebay this past winter for $7 a piece (unfortunately, one was one of the ones you needed if you need the last two). What flea market is this--I didn't know there were any up in Dutchess County (not that I ever get up there from Long Island, but I'm still curious) Clive
  4. Hey- Through the old 'friend of a friend of a friend' network, I found someone who has a bunch of offbeat 2600 games--all of it in the box, most of them in cellophane still. The guy wants $11 a piece--I've rarely found games in the box, much less mint, so I don't really know if that's a decent price for these, but I do know that there's at least 4 games that I've never come across in my 9 years of collecting. So, I need your collective help in figuring out what (if any of it) is worth getting. Double Dragon (Activision) Spider Droid (Froggo--and he has 2 of them) Skateboardin (Absolute Ent.) Gravitar (Atari red box) Football (late 80s box which says it's really soccer) Cruise Missle (Froggo--and he has 2 of them) Little Bear (bootleg Taiwan Cooper Label---what game is this really?) Pele's Soccer (bootleg Taiwan Cooper Label) and various realsports volleyball, football, baseball which I don't care about Any info or advice would be awesome. Clive
  5. It really is one of the most under-rated games ever for the 2600. It might even be my all-time favorite.
