[Vectrex] How to remove power knob safely
sprazzi replied to sprazzi's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thanks. I was really hoping for such simple solution. What was causing trouble in my case was that a thin piece of plastic shaped like the D letter inside the knob remained on the shaft... -
Please I need to know how to remove the power knob safely, to put it in another working machine. Thanks.

Do you know Galaxy Patrol for the NES by Michael Martin? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/38540-new-nes-homebrew-project-galaxy-patrol It is great fun to me!

I use a bic pen with a wire strap taped on it... What do they actually adjust? something visible on screen like trembling or shaking? Basically I have this (feeble) issue on my vectrex...

I have a vectrex whose display looks like has been stretched vertically, i.e. on minestorm the score and remaining spaceship are out of screem Image:http://annunci.ebay.it/annunci/videogiochi-e-console/lecco-annunci-lecco/mb-vectrex-messa-a-punto/59028333 sometimes better than others, sometimes the screen is garbled but a pat on the vectrex head brings thing to "normality". is there something i could try without killing myself ? I dont know how to solder either. any help appreciated. cheers.

ColecoVision 1.2 - replacement PCB, added features
sprazzi replied to 5-11under's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
@5-11under: thanks! Today i tried for the first time to open my "greenish" coleco and IT WAS SURPRISINGLY EASY. After all i read on the 'net i thought i was gonna kill myself but it was really a piece of cake!!! (without stripping out the front sticker!) So I tried to swap the RF cable but still the colors on my TV are still greenish, like bleached out...this is as far as my knowledge goes, so... I'm keeping it for this "coleco 1.2" cheers! -

sprazzi replied to 5-11under's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
Hello Coleco World. I just signed in to say i'm in!. This project is awesome. I have a Colecovision which outputs a greenish video... I'm thinking to replace its guts with this board. Cheers.
