Ad read "Original CX-2600" not "Sixer" it was never purported to be a "Heavy Sixer" it just looked like one at a quick glance with the corners broken off.

I bought a light sixer on eBay and paid too much. I thought that I was getting a real bargain on a heavy sixer. I should have looked closely at the photos, it was a light sixer with the corners broken off. if it works I may break even, I have plenty of extra shells. Lesson learned, and passed on to my fellow Atarians.

I got a question on Amazon about the cord length on these. I grabbed one out of my for sale box and the cord appeared to be about 8 feet long. I remember giving one to a friend as a gift and the cord being too short to reach the front of the TV from the input jacks on the back. Have there been different revisions? I see them range in price from $5 to $55 are there "rare" ones?

OK, I have a stash of dead 2600's, mostly light sixers. I also have a stash of FB2 systems that I picked up cheap. Can someone point me to a good link of how to remove the cartridge apparatus from the 2600? Is any particular model a better choice for these parts? The article that I read used the slot and connector from a 7800, is that better?

I injured my heavy sixer while removing spider eggs from it. Is this a replacement cable? I have never ever seen a red one before. Does anyone have one for sale?
