Last night, I had a friend over and we wound up playing Mario Bros. in the 2-player at the same time mode and it was a blast! Other than Centipede, what other games have this option? I have a 2600, 5200 and 7800 so any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

It works great. The Epyx ones are too big and the Mythicon ones are dwarfed but other than that, it works well. It does seem as if the Atari ones that are multilingual are a bit bigger (I chalked it up to the same reason that British Journals are on that odd-sized paper. It didn't take me long in my Article Xeroxing career to figure out why some copiers had a 94% reduction button......) but they can be squished in with little harm. I have them filed alphabetically. Oh, and the boxes ain't cheap either....I only get ones with boxes if say, it is only going to cost me $.50 or so more than the cart itself. However, I am a sucker for manuals so that can bump it up a bit. I finally got all of my manuals filed (5 x 7 photo sheets in a 3-ring binder fit most of them) and it is great! Laura

Does that include the costs for the addition that you would need to put on your house because that would be some of my cost......

At the moment, I'm just a loose cart and manual kind of gal.....if something comes with a box, great but I'm not paying extra or seeking them out at the moment!

My copy of Tunnel Runner arrived last night as did Star Fox to complete both my CBS and my Mythicon collection. Now all I need are a few more manuals to round them out. I'm looking for manuals for Star Fox, Fire Fly, Blue Print, Gorf, Mountain King, Solar Fox and Wizard of Wor if anyone has any to spare. Woo-hoo!

I'd try a packing/shipping place like Mailboxes, etc. or someplace like that. They should have the widest variety of sizes.

Definitely a box in a box. Most people are paying extra for the system box and the last thing that they want is to have it mauled by having it used as the actual shipping box wrapped in brown paper. You'll risk having some really unhappy customers if you do it that way.....

I have the following NES games FS/FT. I have a want list in my signature and it is far from complete as basically, I want anything that I don't have, so if you see something that you want, let me know and we'll work something out! My trade list is also there so if you want to add anything to your order, feel free as it saves on shipping. FS: Lot of 9 loose Intellivision carts *SOLD*
Redcurrie replied to Krytol's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
(It's actually OK...I have all of those except Pac-Man). They're still for sale. I'm in the same boat (I only wanted Pac-Man) but I can't justify buying the whole lot as I already have more duplicates of the others than I know what to do with. If whoever buys them needs overlays, I have extras for most of the others! Laura -
I wouldn't say everyone.......

I've heard of these programs but know nothing about them....could you elaborate a bit?

Well, on my TV, it was black, white, red and green instead of being black, white and gray......

Okay, last week, I fixed my one 2600 by switching out the TIA with a working one from another unit. I got in another TIA to resurrect the "donor" unit and screwed up and put it in backwards. I got colored static when I cut it on, realized my mistake and turned it around. Now all I get is a black screen. I also bent whatever the gray thingee situated to the top left of the TIA was so it may be that. Any suggestions?? Can you "blow" the TIA by doing that or does it damage something downstream? What is the gray thingee, could that be the problem, and if so, how do I fix it? Thanks! Laura

I am fine at the higher levels as long as I'm in "the zone" and concentrating. The minute that you lose your focus, you're toast! I also like Tetris and Tetris 2 for the NES and can get quite wrapped up in Puyo Pop, Fortress, Tetris Blast and most of all, Pokemon Puzzle Challenge for the GB. I also like non-action puzzle games like Denki Blocks and Kwirk. Any other suggestions?

Combat cart to travel worldwide...wanna help?
Redcurrie replied to The MilkMan's topic in Atari 2600
The fun thing to do is find a really cool, identifiable place to take the picture. We had this stuffed (toy, not taxidermy) porcupine (Bob) that became our Lab Mascot and subsequently went on business trips all over the world with people. You had to take a picture of him in front of something identifiable (like the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee sign) to show his location. It was kind of cool as I have pictures of him in dozens of states and numerous foreign countries. -
I have been playing Dr. Mario on my NES for who knows how many nights in a row, each time saying, "Just one more game" about a dozen times. I can't get past Level 18 (Med Speed) yet. Has anyone ever made it all the way to 20?

My pick would be Tempest, by far a game that I greatly miss. Playing it on the PS just doesn't do it for me!

This might help. I'm assuming that yours is a PAL console.... http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/sche..._pal/index.html Laura
