  1. Just wanted to say that Shenmue 2 for the dreamcast is alot better than the Xbox version. Did anyone noticed how blurry the fight sceens were in the xbox version?and the red trees look like crap also. The dreamcast version has brighter colors and plays alot better. Lets hope that Shenmue 3 turns out better.

  2. Oh, and is someone still making Rapid Fire controlers? I thought production stopped years ago?

Nick that sounds like a good job for you. You seem to know Jaguar controllers like the back of your hand :) How bout putting together a couple??? :D

  4. Does anyone know if there is a case, maybe a clam shell case, that you can purchase to hold your loose Jag carts? And if so, from where?

I've got a couple games (Air Car's & Phase Zero) that never came with a case of any kind and I'd like to store them a little better than in a Ziplock.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Put them in a box insert, thats what I do.

  5. We've had this discussion before.  Clint did some serious research on re-producing the Jag VR units.  The cost was just too high.  There are some custom chips on the tracker, but Glenn has already dumped the chips so we could easily reproduce them.  I'm not sure if the headset has some custom chips, but I guess it probably does.  I don't believe anyone has dumped those.

As far as the Jag 2 goes, the ones that currently exist would have been cool, but by today's standards outdated and hardly worth re-producing in bulk.  I guess with unlimited $$$ anything can be done though!  Very cool on the lottery, wish it was me!  :)

I'd love to get those chips put in my mock-up :D

  6. Don't count on a Jag VR ever being mass produced. I believe that even if Atari were still in business and they did make the Jag VR , it wouldnt be like the one that we have all come to know and love. The Jag VR would cost too much to make and Atari realized this. If Atari kept working on the idea I think they would have released just a HMD to cut costs down. Picture a Philips Scuba headset with red/gray coloring and a Jaguar logo on it, thats the Jag VR we would have gotten. Just my 2cents
