  1. You can sometimes find them cheap, if your patient. Sometimes sellers list thier Jaguar cd system's as non-working. Usually its just the cd spinner thats stuck. All it needs is a little tug to loosen it up and you have got yourself a very cheap working Jag cd. I have gotten lucky 3 times with non-working Jag cd systems off ebay :)

  2. Very cool JW.  Glad to hear you finally landed one of these (now you'll stop bugging me about my other one....hahaha...)

It looks like Blue Lightning is the game in the pamphlets on the sides?  Is that correct (my vision is always questionable).  That's the first time I've seen Blue Lightning.  What makes it extra cool is it is the first CD game for the Jag.....Coolness...

    Later.

    Jason

    Thanks Jay!

Yup, thats Blue Lighting on the top right. Ive never seen Blue Lighting pamphlets on a kiosk either. I thought all the kiosks had the same pamphlets...weird.

  3. Me and anoth dude carried the whole kiosk up the stairs in one peice :)

Of course I got the heavy end! :D

LOL! But who had to walk backwards up the stairs? ;)

Man, it sounds like you've got THE sweetest kiosk around. That guy must've kept it in cherry condition.

    Niiice!

I had to walk backwards up the stairs too!! :x :D :D

    I was dieing....

  4. On unreleased proto that you isn't on this list is the early version of Alien Vs. Predator that was shown to a few developers to prove that the Jaguar was going to be a very powerful system.  I have that one   8)

It barely even resembles the final game.

Hmm when can we expect a release of this goodie

Sorry for the long lack of reply... Been very busy lately.

Due to the fact that my version of AvP is nothing like the finished version and is much more of a tech demo than a game (the Aliens / Predators just disappear when you hit them, there are no power ups, no level goals, it runs twice as fast as the finished product, no sound, unfinished graphics, only partial levels, etc) I don't think that releasing it would be worth... well, anything to most people. Even if I could produce them for $40.00 apiece, I honestly don't see any reason someone would purchase one beyond having to have every game for their Jaguar.

I have the beta and have played a little of it. I think the beta is BETTER than the finish version. Thier are alien queens all over the place to shoot at.It runs a hell of alot faster like you said. I need to play it more...I still havent found the predators in the game :)

  5. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lust:

    (I love doing that ^ ;) )

It looks awesome! How were those stairs? LOL!

Me and anoth dude carried the whole kiosk up the stairs in one peice :)

Of course I got the heavy end! :D

The condition of the kiosk is excellent. It has never been in a retail store.

The guy bought it new in 95 and has had it ever since, only been shipped once. Even has the Atari monitor.

I cant stop playing this thing!!! I gotta go! :D 8)

  6. Here is the # for those CON men, (573) 392-7122

Can't believe yall paid $300 each for those POS games :o

I dont care how rare they are thats a rip off!!!

I consider myself a serious Jag collector but...i'm not THAT serious

  7. Anyway, if it's down in a basement, I'd definitely seperate it. If you and the other person can pack that top part out, you'll be in the clear. That bottom's gonna be a cinch. ;)

Yeah I think by seperating it is the safest way. Thanks

    There'll be pics, right?

U bet! :) If all goes well(figures crossed) i'll post some pics satuday night

  8. Whats the best way to move this thing? In one whole piece or taking the top plastic part off? There is only 1 other person helping me with moving it.

There is only 4 bolts holding the plastic part to the base...is that correct???

This thing is in mint condition and I dont want anything to happen to it durning the moving. Any suggestions would help.

    Thanks
