@SkullBlade NOBODY is claiming it isn't "legit", such things are a lesson in how online interaction works. If you are constantly posting dramatic shit you are going to get response / reaction. He didn't seem to have an issue with supportive and inquiring comments on several previous status posts, the moment someone suggests enough is enough suddenly it's all "Leave me alone, I didn't ask for you comments". Oh well.

So posting mocking comments which may make things worse is a great way to do that then is it?

A simple "will you stop posting these?" or something along those lines would have sufficed, or just use the internet browser's scrollbar.

Ah well, I don't want to get in to an argument over this so I'm going to just leave it at that as I didn't see the responses that were exchanged earlier.

Why is it the rest of the community is expected to ignore or simply "scroll past" a status when they don't agree with it or are tired of / annoyed by it? As I said, it's a public forum, you post in this community YOU GET RESPONSE. As you say though your best to leave it at that since you didn't see the responses or know the history of posts / past comments etc.
