Yes, nitpickers, the Independence Day holiday is celebrated on July 4th and not on July 2nd as John Adams envisioned, but I think his sentiments were exactly right, and his exultation still resonates today.
Happy Independence Day, everybody, and play some Atari this weekend. I think the Founders would approve!
