  1. Just saw the weirdest thing happen with PowerPoint 2013: a student was in the middle of a presentation, and the two mirrored displays on the workstation (one monitor, one projector) suddenly went out of sync. A previous slide was frozen on the projector, but she was able to advance the slides on the monitor. I had to reset the multi-display settings in Windows to bring them back to normal. Anyone seen this before?

      If the projector is using an external video device (USB, network, etc..) then it can freeze/stop communicating with a static picture. This doesn't tend to happen with internal video, though.

      Yeah, this is a dual-head Radeon video card, so I'm kinda stumped. I wonder if there's a key you can inadvertently press in PowerPoint to make that happen.

      In that case I guess Windows just forgot about the 2nd display.
