    So it looks like the "Ben-Hur" remake will bomb. Big surprise. Nobody asked for it, and it features mostly unknowns: besides Morgan Freeman, the "biggest name" in the cast is Jack Huston. Too bad they ignored his grandfather's advice on remakes ...

      Remaking movies is like "facelifting" and "modernizing" Asteroids or pac-man. It doesn't work.
