I fired up my new Hakko FR-300 desoldering tool (the replacement for the 808) for the first time last night. AMAZING!!! Jobs that used to take an hour with solder wick and manual suction tools now take about ten minutes!

  @CPU: Yeah, you were right! I guess I just didn't see the need for it until after I spent hours laboriously desoldering cartridge ROMs. That job just became a whole lot easier. It's so much fun to use that I'm even thinking of socketing all my consoles!
