My "relationship" with AT&T has been pure pain from beginning to end. I canceled my DSL service and was told to return the modem through UPS within two weeks to avoid an extra fee. My local UPS pickup location wouldn't take it, and the nearest UPS Store is apparently in some obscure hole in the wall in an unfamiliar area. On the last day, after getting lost twice trying to find the place, I just took the modem back home and smashed it.
