I'm learning (have learned) that almost anything promoted exclusively on the internet is a bust. Besides, I doubt there's anything of major consequence there - aside from the usual black projects. Every culture seems to have mysteries like Area51.

^ Exactly.  It's one thing to sit at home all day and use Twitter, but it's quite another to get up off the couch and go out and *DO* the things you say you want to do.  The Twitterati are always amplified more than they deserve to be, but they're all talk; none of their "sound and fury" is real.

Imagine thinking that it was ever a serious idea.
