Pretty memorable day for me too.  It blew up on my 18th birthday.  I was a Senior in high school. The announcement came over the PA and every classroom was told to turn on the TV.  Didn't take long before the joke about the teacher having dandruff circulated, because they found her Head & Shoulders.  (Some people are just jerks, but some might joke to cope, or change the mood of what's going on)...

Its a macabre subject, but I've always wondered, were the bodies recovered?
