I never could find the code for the score color. Anyone know what line it is in Hack-o-Matic?

Thomas Jentzsch has fixed the problem with the Death Race BIN and has sent me a stable version. Everyone that is having trouble with their copy pleaser send me an e-mail and I will have replacement copies made. For now everyone keep the copies they have, but they will have to be returned to recieve a new copy.

Nope, Not all. I did change them to bats in Nitemare. Actually, I have always liked that stage so I just left them in the space games. But it did'nt fit with the Halloween theme.

Thomas checked it out and found the following: The Death Race hack does 286 scanlines which is almost exactly in the middle between PAL (312) and NTSC (262). Why it is doing that, I have no idea. If anyone can fix it, I can have some replacement carts made.

It seems to work fine on some TV's and not others. Still looking into it.

I'll make sure that everyone gets a playable cartridge as soon as we can figure out what is causing the problem.

Mine only does it one or two times per game. Making it toatally playable. I wonder what the problem could be I did'nt have any trouble with the carts I tested. I'll see if I can find out what is causing it.

Even if you had the money they are already sold out I think there are only 20 if I remember correctly. Correct. Packrat made 20 copies of Death Race Movie Edition for me. It is slightly different then the BIN file located in the Hacks section. It has a few changes to go more with the movie story line. I also had a couple of Crystal Cart versions made special on the side. I have not yet decided what to do with them.

I can see why you would mention all the games except one, Demon Attack. Did I miss all of the Demon Attack Hacks?? I know of two (Both Mine): Extinction! Invader X Did I wear it out with all the updates to Invader X?

It's Company wide so all stores should have the prices(If they are not gone). Even if it has a higher price, have then scan it.

I just got back from EB where I picked up the following games(ALL NEW): Zoocube (Gamecube) $1.99 Robotech Battlecry CE (Gamecube) $4.99 (Collectors Edition) NFL 2K2 (X-Box) $2.99 Gun Valkyrie (X-Box) $4.99 There were alot of other sports games below $5. Seems they are having a Spring Clearance. Get'em before they are gone!!

Only part of me thinks you are kidding, neo..... OK. I was joking about the last one....

I really like working with all the games that you mentioned. I have learned so much working with Demon Attack and Berzerk that it is really easy and fun hacking both of them. Maybe it would be better to only give the full write-up to hacks that stand out above the others. Then have an everything else section that shows just the Hack Name, Original Game, Hackers Name and the BIN file. You could even clump all the Space Invader Hacks in a group, all the Berzerk Hacks in another, etc... Right now I am working on a hack of Alligator People called Dawn of the Dead. I have been working alot of OT and going to alot of ball games so my computer time has been limited. I'll be flooding the Hack Forum again soon...........

If you have played the new version, What happened when Evil Otto came after you for the first time (Game 1)?? It's always bothered me that you have to select a different game to get the arcade version of Berzerk. I have now changed it so that Game 1 is the Arcade version. I looked into adding diagonal fire for the enemy robots, I can change the origin of the shots but I can't get diagonal shots. It will probably require a few lines of new code. The squashed graphic of Evil Otto can be deleted to free up some extra space.
