OK. I see the line you added: I like the Red STA COLUBK ;3 What is the variable that changes the color? Is it the COLUBK Or is it ;3 Sorry for the newb question, but I have done all of my hacking with Hack-o-Matic and have only glanced at a few disassemblies.

Change something, see what it did, and go from there. It's all trial and error...

AAAHHHHHH!!!! My heads gonna explode!!!!

I am still trying to figure these things out. At least a few things make sense.

Is there any "Legalized Roms" other than Blaster o
neotokeo2001 replied to Saikyo's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I did'nt even try to translate what you guys are saying, but this picture in between all the 000's and 111's is hilarious!!! -
The color locations are listed in the Quick Draw topic.

Here is another version with a few different colors: Hey look!! Pac-Man is Yellow!! Thanks to Cybergoth. paczerk_plus_ver_a.zip

You're welcome! I'll try and see if it's possible to make the background yellow. It's just not that easy to change, as I'd need to find a little ROM space for that first. As for the font, I think the one used in Atlantis was a "western" font, but it's most likely too big... Greetings, Manuel I have always liked black backgrounds, but it would be interesting to see how it would look: I will look into the Atlantis font..

Here is Saikyos idea for the color:

I made the change to the gunshot sound. I agree, it is a better sound, more western. Started playing around with the colors: Player: Light Green Score/Title: Red Playfield: Brown Also changed the score Font Any suggestions on the colors?? Check out the screenshot of Evil Otto. What should we do with him?? Should we leave him as he is?? *****Play Game #3 for Evil Otto to appear (Arcade Version) Thanks to Cybergoth for pointing me in the right direction. westworld_ver_a.zip

I am doing something wrong. I made a diassambly, but when I go thru it, there are none of the address's that you list. Is there a help page for re-compiling a dis-assembly? No need to disassemble, You can simply edit those addresses with any Hexeditor. Just notice that in a Hexeditor the file is loaded without any Offset, so its zero based: $0171 : Copyright $080E : Player $09BD : Playfield Greetings, Manuel Smacks self in head Thanks. You made it too easy, so I had to make it harder....

Funny you mention that, I do have a version with Indianna Jones that I am working on....

I was thinking more along the Westworld Berzerk label. In the movie, the Robots basically go Beserk and kill the guest. And since this is a hack of Bezerk......... Talk me out of it........ Check out the splash page on my website: http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dl...geid=139406&ck=

Which label do you guys prefer??
-
Take some screenshots of your changes and maybe I can add them in without problems.

I don't know what is causing the glitch you mentioned. I have found no problems in this latest version. The latest changes that I have made. 1. Added the fence pattern 2. Changed the Extra Man icon to a Hat 3. Evil Otto now looks Evil/and he doesn't squash 4. High Noon at bottom of screen Out of Gas, Great Idea for a hack! high_noon_a.zip

I'm putting some of my hacks on cart in the next week or two. Stay tuned. Have you come up with any label designs yet?? Sign me up in advance. The hack is much better then the original.
