      I mean they still make them, but with online walkthroughs and youtube you figure the business must have peaked at least 10 years ago.

      I consider a lot of strategy guides very wordy instruction manuals. Or "the" missing manual.

      The ones I've seen at retail have looked skimpier than the older books. Plus there are fewer of them.

       

      I guess there's good in having a giant Pokedex to pore over if you're a kid.

       

      I would have enjoyed that kind of thing had I been the right age for it.
