  1. Have still never seen a real Vectrex at 35...Were they distributed in all parts of the country?

I believe I saw a Vectrex in real life for the first time 2006 when we had a small expo and one guy came to showcase his 10 Vectrex systems, many in original boxes and/or cases. So from 0 to 10 in one day.

I bought mine in '82 in CA when I was on vacation.  Yeah, they were around...I never really noticed them until I got mine (1/2 off at $99, on sale at G.A.M.E.S.).  I was so blown away seeing it in real life!  I had a few friends buy one after seeing mine.  Unfortunately, I did Not notice when LaBelle's blew out all their "old" Vectrex games at $3 a piece!  Now, Had I known I would have bought everything I could have got my hands on...

Pretty sure it's just the age difference...By 1984, If I am remembering correctly, (When you were a young lad of 1 Year old), a lot of us (near my age of 16) were more worried about cars, high school, movies, heavy metal, and music videos etc., and barely noticed when some video games were being clearanced...Arcades were still big, home systems flailed, home computers were coming in for a few...It would be 4 years later before most of us got back in with the NES, (Only we didn't know it at the time)...Home games seemed,  temporarily,  almost over...
