  @Flojomojo No, the search terms can be a single character... Although that's not terribly useful. However, two-letter search terms are more useful, such as "Qb". I searched using Google also to see if I could find the thread and that didn't pull up any results (except for today's status updates!) It's possible there was no "the official cdi thread" or something did happen to it. I'll rebuild the search index overnight and see if that helps. I was going to do that anyway, as others had reported some issues with the search not finding specific results that are definitely in the forum. Let me kick that off now so I don't forget.
