  1. Had a browse at Best Buy today for the first time in five years.  It's become readily apparent that my interests have diverged from what's available at a mainstream consumer electronics store.  They had mostly LED festooned gadgets that connect with smartphones and make your life "better" somehow by connecting to some random subscription service. No thanks.

I bought a bluray for $12 (Austin powers trilogy).  They are down to one shelf of blu-rays.  No CD's, CD players.  No stereo components.  Limited Polaroid stock.  Small selection of overpriced records.  So-so videogame selection.  There is just really no reason for me to go there anymore.

      Pretty much.
They're sort of like a mini Amazon and Apple showroom popular with bros and millenials.

Never thought I would say this, but it's better to buy most things online now.

Best Buy in Cedar Hill had three rows of DVDs and Blueray.
