"Starting April 21, online multiplayer for free-to-play Xbox games will no longer require a paid subscription" Interesting...

"This is a urgent message for the vehicle owner" ?

Whoa! I can post status updates again; YAY!!! Lost the ability for a week or two randomly, anyone else run into this?

I think there is a race condition regarding loading JavaScript that enables the editor, and the browser finishing loading the page. You can always go to your profile and post a public message on your stream, it will appear as a status update.
(of course if a mod turned off that feature for you, it won't work)

Set up a Sony MEGA Watchman in my home office with VPR Classical playing at a low volume. Should have done it a long time ago very relaxing.

Well the $45 dollar "broken" Lynx I i bought? Plugged in a power cord, California Games, booted right up. You gotta love life's little victories.

100% done Skyrim at 150 hours. That game was life changing. Ruined sooo many games for me by being so good. I'll never play a 3D Zelda again i can tell you that much.

I was done with skyrim in ~15 min. Like a speedrun! First I joined the wrong team in the intro, read two BORING books about politics/dragons, met a blacksmith who also went on about politics/dragons, so I dubbed him 'the final boss.' I quit every elder scrolls game shortly after the tutorial level. Daggerfall's tutorial was a real ordeal. Then in this other one I got off a boat, onto a bug and quit, and another I decided I didn't want to live in a world where patrick stewart was dead.

After reading a number of reviews I think i'm skipping the new Bond (very sadly as i'm a big fan). Too dark, no charm/fun, what happed to the old 007 I grew up with?

I liked it. Wasn't the best of the Craig films, but probably in the middle for me. They threw in lots of throwbacks to older series, including "funny" one liners. The CIA girl was my favorite character ( 3 weeks training) but yeah it's ultimately a drag because of the ending. Reminds me of Infinity War or End Game ending. I'd say if you're a huge fan to watch it in spite of what others say and judge for yourself. If any newer film ruins your respect for any series, then just take solace in the fact you're old and only watch old movies.

Moycon's comments are entirely correct. It was overall disappointing. There were some decent action sequences, but it was overall far too dark. I was not thrilled with the inclusion of a child character; she added nothing. Skyfall is my least favourite Bond film, but this movie did its best to dislodge it from last-place.

Am i just graphics insensitive? I really can't tell a difference between PS3/XB360 and current gen systems.. It all looks great to me.
-
Agree 1000%! I have an XB1 and PS4, but not even certain why (PS4 as mostly a streaming / blu ray player). I have held for two generations now that the 360/PS3/Wii were the last really significant step forward. Graphically and otherwise (wireless controllers, downloadable games and demos, HDMI, etc).
Of course, chances are good that I am simply very, very old.

I had Invasion of the Space Preachers (1990, Troma) and a concert of D.R.I. Live @ the Ritz in 1987... However as I just checked for them, and didn't see them, I asked my friend if I gave them to him, and sure enough, I gave them away already! My memory that day was pretty foggy...(You know how some (fun) days are hahaa...)

Well I just paid for my preorder of the anime bluray through a proxy shipping service. ?
@Rick Dangerous thanks for motivating me to look into it more or I never would have discovered the remaster that was announced just last month.

Anyone remember the Poker boom? There were even some video games made during that era it got so popular. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_boom
-
Yeah..that was annoying. Parties we would go to around that time they would have a poker table and there was always 1 or 2 a-holes just going all in every hand trying to bully people. I actually hate gambling but did it to be social. What I would do is win one big hand, be up 50 bucks and quit just to piss those guys off.
