For the last couple decades I thought my childhood atari 2600 was broken - but in fact it was simply the AC adapter that was broken and it booted right up with a new one!
That's Great News! (everyone)...I had a similar experience,...Evidently one of my TVs is having some issues with A/V but not S-Video and I thought my Favorite 2600 was broken, but it is working fine!
