  1. Looks like I was 1st to receive my BOC. Not equipped to take video, but here's all the crap I got: Candy (Yum!), some games and boxes, bunch of manuals and other paperwork, a PS1 controller and light gun, toys, wires, and a lifetime supply of priority mail envelopes. Truly as advertised. Thanks, AX!
  2. No Tut, or Spiker, or any aftermarket/homebrews. Also no music keyboard, Bandai, Sylvania, or Digiplay stuff. Missing some boxes and lots of variants, too. I'm a looong ways from complete, but that's OK - it keeps the fun of the hunt going. When I got the KC, I removed the price tag, put a clear, removable piece of tape under it as a barrier, then put the masking tape back on just to get those OMFG reactions:-)
  3. Verified both units are still functional. KC is serial #001937, since somebody asked. It was the only way I could make sure I had found everything. Sadly, I now have to put it back in boxes to store, except 1 system and a handful of favorite games. I've only got the one bookshelf and I need it to sort out the next system.
  4. Both worked a few years ago when last plugged in, although I have no software for the KC so can't really test it much.
  5. I paid $10 total for the pair of items on the top shelf at a rummage sale about 12 years ago. What you can't really make out is that the KC was marked down from $8, as it had sat there all day with no takers. The demo thingie came with the games that are inserted in it - nothing rare but it made a pretty good deal that much sweeter. Truth be told, I really had no idea what the demo unit was until I got home and looked it up.
  6. Here's the bulk of my Inty collection, not including duplicates. There's a box missing, with my ECS, system changer, and Super Pro and /// systems but I'm tired of looking for it.
  7. If it's the sort of computer you can plug a cart into, then I collect for it.
  8. I bought mine with my first 'adult' paycheck after graduating college in summer '79. Got it used thru a newspaper ad (remember those?), and i think it was a light sixer with a dozen or so games. Mostly I wanted it to play chess, since I was in a new town and hadn't met many people yet. Imagine my disappointment when it took hours, literally, to make a move, and it cheated!
  9. I'm in! I've always had a good time and found some nice deals at these events.
  10. I'm missing that label variant from my collection.
  11. Austin, Houston, and Galveston for sure. Any place in between those cities or on the road between Galveston and Baton Rouge would also be OK.
  12. I,ll be taking an extended trip thru east Texas, west Louisianna, Mississippi, and Tennessee in November. Can anyone recommend any flea markets or other spots to find classic games on my route? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  13. Media mail shipping was a recurring sore point back in my ebay selling days. I was selling many old videogame/computer magazines that didn't qualify because they contain ads, and was constantly barraged with demands that I use the service anyway (and by lots of people claiming that magazines did qualify because their local PO said it was OK despite the printed rules). Even got a couple messages from ebay claiming I was overcharging for shipping. Threads like this remind me why I'm so much happier having abandoned ebay, their seller-hating rules and monopolistic fees, and the many idiots who shop there. Present company excluded, of course .
  14. cd-i is *way* better than a Memorex VIS, which is my rarest console.
  15. 1665 spares, according to my slightly out of date spreadsheet, representing 473 different games or major label variants.
  16. The disks are numbered. Mine is #1581 (a good commodore number, that:-) . I can't read the number on yours - maybe that'll tell us which is the later version.
  17. Received my cart yesterday. Looks & plays great! I hadn't really noticed you're from Canada - why didn't you call this the LeisureVision multi-cart? Anyways, thanks very much. Definitely breathes new life into one of my lesser-played consoles.
  18. I've got a similar but not identical Dave Brown package for C64. Not sure what it's worth, but I paid 99cents for it long ago when Commodore stuff was cheap and plentiful at the thrifts.
  19. The Trash80 nickname started with the Model I. That unit needed a separate interface box for hooking up disk drives and other peripherals, and the umbilical connecting it to the keyboard unit was easily jarred loose, resulting in random crashes, resets, and lost data. Hence the trash80 moniker.
  20. Either incorrect link, or the auction was removed. Link works for me. It's a VGA95 sealed Mario Party 3 for $39,999.99. Plus shipping ($27.40 for me).
  21. Reiterating my interest, since I haven't posted in this thread for a while.
  22. Vice is very good for various Commodore 8-bits: C64, C128, Vic20, plus4, and several PET models.
  23. Picked up 3 of these recently, looking to expand my CoCo library, but they won't play. 2 of them freeze at the title screen, one doesn't start at all. Is there a preferred CoCo model I should try or is it just not going to work?
