  1. I have one, but it's never been opened so I'm unlikely to buy a homebrew for it.
  2. Air Bone Assault? Is that a Custer's Revenge kind of thing?
  3. I've got my ZoomFloppy and OPENCBM working with Linux Mint and would like to add nibtools. I've seen it stated in several places that nibtools works with Linux but can't seem to find the instructions for making it happen. Anyone know the steps to make this work?
  4. Would have been nice if you chose a name that hadn't already been used: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OMNI_Entertainment_System
  5. If your intent is to sell them, you could just list them auction-style on ebay with 0.99 starting prices and let the market decide.
  6. Several of those games show up on the pricecharting site: https://www.pricecharting.com/console/commodore-64
  7. Hmmm, it's been a long time since I fired up the Supervision, but I remember kinda liking it. I've got 35 or 40 games for it (all are already on your list, so nothing new to add). John Adventure had me expecting a game where you visited a prostitute then had to dodge pimps and police, but I guess I misinterpreted the name.
  8. Its my favorite drive for the Apple II, but the Commodore 4040 stored more per disk, could make backups without tying up the computer, and came out 3 years earlier.
  9. I'd recommend getting a dedicated unit just to save wear on your xbone. Used bluray players are $10 and under at the local thrifts, sometimes with remotes. Of course, with a used system you have no idea how much wear and tear it's had or if it's a new enough model to have the features you want. I bought a used one that includes a USB port, but the only file format it supports is some obsolete camcorder type so is useless that way.
  10. Looks like it went for a bit over $10K. Odd that a one-of-a-kind piece of hardware sells for less than games with several known copies, for example the recent Extra Terrestrials that sold for $16K or so and of which a handful are known to exist.
  11. Not mine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-Prototype-2500-Game-console-unreleased-Unit-is-working/263961648071?hash=item3d75571bc7:g:hSgAAOSwvZFbrVBV
  12. Completed a nice trade of C64 stuff with Wongo. Everything went as smooth as could be. Good bloke to deal with.
  13. From Wikipedia: The Expansion Interface was the most troublesome part of the TRS-80 system. It went through several revisions. The E/I connected to the CPU/keyboard with a 6-inch ribbon cable which was unshielded against RF interference and its card edge connector tended to oxidize due to its base metal contacts. This demanded periodic cleaning with a pencil eraser in order to avoid spontaneous reboots, which contributed to its "Trash-80" sobriquet.
  14. Looks great! Nice to see some VIC20 love there, too.
  15. Two more shelves filled, more than half of it WiiU games. These have started showing up at thrifts, fleas, and garage sales, so along with Toys-Were-Us closeouts, the recent buy-2-get-1-free gamestop sale, and some other lucky finds I've managed to get about 2/3 of the library for not much money.
  16. I went into a GS for the first time in years the other day, just to check out their WiiU games. Was pleasantly surprised to find a better selection at lower prices than any of the independent used game stores around, many complete with cases, artwork, manuals, and other contents.
  17. I'd be interested in participating, but probably only as a buyer. If I see someone looking for something specific I might be able to help out, but my schedule won't allow me time to get stuff tested, photographed, and priced before the deadline. Suggestion: all participants should list their home country/state/city to head off any shipping surprises.
  18. The plus4 in particular is very fragile, chip-wise. You might consider adding heatsinks to the CPU and TED chips. Some also remove the mostly-useless +4 application ROM to further reduce heat inside the machine.
  19. Always nice when the actual creator shows up. I'm even more impressed with the work now that you've shared these extra details and photos. Was the original Kaypro green monitor kaput, or did you just prefer the amber?
  20. There's more than 1 company using the Value Village name, which causes some confusion. What started out as VV changed its corporate name to Savers when they went to expand and found these other entities already using the name Value Village. Savers still uses the VV name in the Pacific NW, parts of Canada, and possibly other places. In most of the US, they use the Savers brand. Savers is a for profit thrift store. They kick back a tiny portion of the proceeds to a local charity which allows them to post the charity's name in the store which can give the misleading impression that they ARE a charity. They've been sued by multiple states for this misleading advertising. That being said, I prefer shopping there to Goodwill, which IS a real not-for-profit company.
  21. This picture appeared on a local Craigslist ad by someone looking for old computers. I messaged him to get the story and he replied it wasn't his. Anybody familiar with this unit? Link to original ad: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/wan/6608894179.html
  22. Can't remember where I saw this (the old printed Digital Press guide, maybe) but there was a bug in RS Baseball that made stealing bases too easy. Super Baseball fixed this.
