Trust me when I tell you I have no interest in monopolizing the atari 2600 Mario bros supply. Will I buy another copy after trying to dump mine? Yes. Will I buy multiple more copies for resell? No. It just seemed odd that NO ONE had taken to purchasing them after seeing how well they sell to "non atari enthusiasts"

Alright, just curious to hear people's opinions on the matter, not looking to ruffle too many feathers here.

Question: if someone is happy to pay the price, does that make you a bad person?

I mean, you would be providing a benefit to people on the inverse, people (me as an example) are willing to pay exuberant prices so perhaps in actuality you are a "good guy"

Hahaha yea, fair play, I had a final to write so my mood wasn't quite as hot as it should be. Question: why have some of you guys not exploited the ebay market with graded Mario bros or other titles that sell for large sums if you guys knwo where to get them for cheap?

I know it isn't a rare game per-say, I'm more going with the condition being the rare part. I have looked at all still available completed listings and there are copies selling for close to $100 that have considerable wear. I'm not looking to dispute your opinion, I'm just looking for more reinforcement. Do these vendors that have NIB product have case fresh available or are they damaged stock?

Not an atari collector FIRST, I do cart only atari for the most part since it has little sentimental value to me, I'm only 20. Besides that though there are some titles of historical significance on atari, Mario bros being one of those. Despite not being huge into atari, Mario bros on any platform makes for a nice display piece. Edit: I also do own all the main 2600 consoles, jr and 4 switch cib, and a cib 7800. I just don't actively search out and collect atari - besides outliers.
