  1. Dear jacobus, i only own a Pal Version. You can´t see the weapon(s) our hero hold in his hands. I can select different devices I can use it, but can´t see the weapon itself. (See pictures) The "Zombis" and the non-infected Guys look the same, so I kill those, who come to close. The Idea of the game however is cool. Good job! I´m very impressed. Please move on, so we have another good game for the upcomming winter I´d be pleased to be your beta tester. Stefan
  2. LIN, but it does not matter, if you choose 250 or 500 kohm.
  3. http://m.ebay.de/itm/ALPHA-GUITAR-POTENTIOMETER-CHOOSE-FROM-250K-OR-500K-LIN-OR-LOG-18mm-SHAFT-/190711809996?var=&hash=item2c674f47cc%3Am%3Am2pCiWyhrsVDNEAb-GJ7Cag&_trkparms=pageci%253A943fca76-76b7-11e6-92ce-005056b688dc%257Cparentrq%253A101d82911570a788469e0a92ffffaa9f%257Ciid%253A31 No need to buy exactly those Potis. You should take care however, you buy LINear potentiometer NOT LOGarithmic ones Stefan
  4. No. Milled aluminium. It was made for his game "lost in Space". The paddle color matches the players lunar lander. Stefan
  5. I made some, a couple of weeks ago for Mr.Atari. Used bigger, more stable potentiometer made for music instruments. No jittering at all. You "could" use conductive pots. Not cheap at a, but nearly no wear. Stefan
  6. Dear Mathy, next year. This year, I have to prepare a different thing Stefan
  7. Damn... I had a look at the map. 609 km away from my hometown. It is next to Plauen, where I was in 2009 for business purposes. So I guess about eight hours per direction... (incl. stops) ...hm... Worth a try. Stefan
  8. Of course you want to use it It' s one of the best add one's ever. I keep my fingers crossed for you. Stefan
  9. O.k. You did it so far. Have you pluged in both, the disk drive AND the Sio2Sd to the Atari? In that case, please check if both are set to different ID's. (eg. 1050 Switches D3 and file load into Slot D1 on Sio2Sd) Maybe you should test your setup first without diskdrive at all. Just to exclude one possible problem. Next thing is, using a 1GB Sd card, or even a smaller one. Let's say you find a 2GB Card thats working... It could contain most of the goodies you'll ever wanted... at least, more you could test n'play in your life. Good hunting! Stefan
  10. May we have a Photo of your setup? (cable connection) Stefan
  11. Well it is the fifth Disk...What does "JLM" mean? Is/was it som sort of Magazin Disk or is it a private Collection? In case one you could try to contact the publisher. No bad joke... I allready established some contacts to (formerly)(german) publisher(s) / groups, and got some usefull informations. Often they even remember the number of printer ribbon used per month . Why not the programs they used?
  12. Regarding success storys by the way... There was one big reason, why C= was able, to sell the C64 for such a long period. The tear down of the iron curtain. What about Atari? Was there a demand for their 8bits too? (I only know the "german part" of the history. C= had a very good reputation in germany those days, so the east germans where happy to buy one as soon as it was available.) Stefan
  13. When I started reading the thread, I misinterpreted the headline. I thought, why do you need 128k? (what programs or games need 128k- and - do I really need it). From the Commodore side of view, I remember commercials who fight the apple. I also read a couple of books (memories) of Commodore guys. None of them mentioned the 8 bit Ataris. The C128 was a Computer between the generations. And from the C= side of view,(at that time!), Atari was a bankruptcy company, with a megalomaniac boss. They fought at court, because of the engineers JT brougt to Atari, and some "special Chipsets" Miner maybe developed during his time at atari etc... but... what else? The rival was apple - and the upcomming Ibm. However... when the Atari ST came, it was a body blow for Commodore. I think for both sides, the 8 bit/128k Computer was just the last logical step, before the 16bit aera came up. Stefan
  14. Dear Sijmen, did I got you wrong? No Problems here with MyIDE II in interaction with U1MB. Stefan
  15. And the winner is... MONTEZUMA!!! That's no problem, 'cause I allready did that. (to be honest, Jon did it) Time to have a look at the Qmeg manual!!! Thanks a lot. Stefan
  16. I see, thanks for the hint. I'll try it this evening.But... That helps when the phone is ringing. It's not much helpfull to preserve the score overnight. Is there an alternativ OS out there, I could flash into ultimate, saving ram on disk or something else? Stefan
  17. I absolutely love that game. If it's time to go to bed, I prefer to play it for a couple of minutes. (well, sometimes half'n hour). Is there ANY way to save the progress, so I didnt have to start from the beginning again'n again? A build in function, a freezer or someting else? My system is a 800XL, Ultimate1Mb, Sio2Sd, MyIDE2. Maybe flashing a special OS into U1Mb or something like that? Stefan
  18. A very good choice! If you're addicted enough, you can buy even more hardware without loosing the advantage of the Sio2SD. Stefan
  19. Thank you for pointing out my mistakes. Your location looks a bit far away? I' m very sorry too, that I also forgot to mention that the Classic-Computing takes place in Nordhorn Germany. Stefan
