I played a little bit with the *.ino file. Let´s assume the guy who programmed the arduino file knew what he was doing. At some point, things have changed somehow, but the arduino file... Let´s have a look at some errors I got, compiling the arduino file. He is calling a function, that he did not "included" before... So my guess is, the author of the Sd_Fat / SdFatUtil.h seperated some of the functions, melted in an earlier version. (See Picture) For example "SDvolume.h". You can see, he is calling that function, but he loaded just #include <SdFat.h> and #include <SdFatUtil.h> So my guess is, "SDvolume.h" was included in that functions before. Stefan

And after that, restart your arduino ide! As i already mentioned, all those " not declared in this function" sounds like a missing #include file (or at least a wrong version). Stefan

You may check if you installed the # included Libraries correct?! By the way... https://github.com/whizzosoftware/SIO2Arduino/issues/ have you checked that too? Stefan

MyBios and Stock OS here, I use the most. 90%? But I have to admit, I don't really care. Have a build in Ultimate. Stefan

Very interesting. A lot of "brand-new-old-never" releases these days :-) I also think it is very likely a late version. If he already burned it on a cartridge and the manual is nearly complete. That looks more almost finished than early release. Would be funny to play it

I run it on a MyIDE II on a separate partition. It works fine, and it loads damn fast! Rumors said, it is programmed by on of the members of AtariAge?! You may ask flashjazzcat for suggestions. Stefan

I'm quiet busy with our main event at the moment.(Classic-Computing 2016) But I've also"collected" all the parts needed, for the time after. I'm glad, my boss supports me in thinkering around with micro controllers. I really doubt if I'm a big help in emulating an 850, but it does not keep me away from playing 'round Stefan

A 2000mA PSU is enough to drive a XL with an Ultimate 1mb, MyIDE2 and an Sio2SD. So... Like Rybag already mentioned, it should do it's job as long as you don't drive it to the max. Maybe you can get an older dsl box. It often has 5V and 2 - 2.5Amps. Happy hunting! Stefan

Dear all, I don' t know exactly how to start. I'm a member of Classic-Computing.de We have a main event each year. You may already guess the name... Classic Computing 2015, 16, 17 ... In 2016, we really let it rumble. Like 10 years before, the location is Nordhorn. A city with 55.000 residents NEXT to the dutch border. But the guest list is much more impressive. I'd like to invite also all available sellers of "old" no... let's say hard ware for classic computers. Some universities / high schools already confirmed, as well as the (famous) CCC (Chaos Computer Club). I also invited computer clubs all over europe. (ABBUC, GAG, etc) 1100sqm have to be filled Different people, even computer museums, all over europe... Selling is alowed by regulatory agency. ... so far so good ... Well, AtariAge is a forum. "Just" a forum not an association. But is there a "hard core" of people/members, that are willing to come? I appended a exhibition portfolio, I normally use to open doors of administrations.
