  1. If you can't tell from the thread already, this item has been sold. If I ever decide to sell my other RCA Studio II system, I definitely know where to post it. Thanks for the input regarding the 9V ac/dc adapter. I'm certain the buyer appreciates it. Thanks to everyone for their interest!
  2. I have an RCA Studio II with three games for sale for $30 or a best offer. Attached are two pics. The games are: Tennis/Squash, Blackjack, and SpaceWar. The games all have instructions. The system does not. The system was mine. I can tell you that it works sometimes. The cable was cut and then put back together by my brother, who is not good with electronics, so sometimes it doesn't work. The system is not in good cosmetic shape. It is over 35 years old and is one of the first generation of home video games that connected to a television. I am selling the system because during a move, I lost the switchbox and power cord. You cannot use the system without either of these and the switchbox is very difficult to find. So, I purchased an entire system on Craigslist, just to get the switchbox and power cord. As such, I ended up with some extra games and an extra console. However, In selling my Coleco Adam and Atari 800XL systems on AtariAge, I found the switchbox. So I decided to put my old system up for sale thinking that there may be someone out there looking for the switchbox. To repeat, the system is still missing the 9V power cord which runs from the switchbox to an outlet. You cannot use the system without it. I've read on various threads that you can use any 9V powercord with the system. I haven't tried to purchase one to find out. Maybe someone out there who knows the answer to this can post it to this thread. Anyway, this would be a good system for someone who is just looking for RCA Studio II parts, cartridges, or the ever elusive switch box, which, if you are an Atari fan, you should know that it shares its place in history with the Atari 5200 in that you need the switchbox to power the system. My zipcode is 62948 IL. The system and cartridges are very light (less than 10 pounds) so I don't think it should cost much to ship to someone. I will use UPS shipping to box and ship it to you. If you are interested or have questions, send me a message. Thanks!
  3. This item has been sold. Thanks to everyone for their advice and interest!
  4. This item has been sold. Thanks for everyone's help and interest.
  5. OK. Here's the list of games that will come with this system: Cartridges: Pole Position, Dig Dug, PacMan, and Star Raiders Disk: Star Raiders II, Electronic Arts Pinball Construction Set, StationFall, and Temple of Apshai Trilogy Also, I noticed that the picture of the 800XL has a light glare on it that makes it look like it is scratched. It is not. I will get a new picture up shortly. Thanks!
  6. I'm pretty sure that I have PacMan, DigDug, and Star Raiders on carts but I'm working off my memory and it isn't what it used to be. So, let me check after work and post a complete (and accurate) list. Thanks for your interest!
  7. Got some advice that I should post my location so you can calculate shipping costs -- Im in Illinois. ZIP 62948. Thanks!
  8. That is good advice. I'll do that for my other sale (Atari 800XL) as well. I'm in Illinois - ZIP 62948. Thanks!
  9. Ok. Here are the pics. Also, this system includes all of the cables and power supplies needed to make it run. Thanks again for all of the help.
  10. Here are the pics. The two pieces of metal that you see in the picture of the console are the clips that hold the cassette into the drive. The drive works without them, but the new user will probably want to glue them back in. I can give you a lot more info on the system since I'm the original owner, so let me know. Thanks!
  11. Another user told me that I should add pictures and a price, so I'll try to get some pictures up right away. in the meantime, $100 seems like a fair price, but is not firm. This system was mine (along with an Atari 800XL I'm selling in another thread), so I'm more concerned that they go to a fellow user. Thanks!
  12. My apologies. That makes sense. Ok. I'll try to get some pictures posted. I think that $100 seems like a fair price, but that is not firm. Since these systems were mine, I'm more interested in that they go to a fellow user. They do work, but will confirm before I ship to someone. I'll post this on my other sale (Coleco Adam) which I just posted. Thanks!
  13. I'm sorry. I'm an old guy (did my first programming on a TRS-80) but a newbie to all of this. Trying to sell my old systems to a fellow user. Am I not supposed to be posting these types of sale here? Any advice appreciated.
