  1. JUST TO POINT THIS OUT... I left this open on my screen when I went to work today, just curiously. Wanted to see what it sold for. Well... here you go: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-Jaguar-Game-Lot-/191931647557?_trkparms=aid%3D0%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D37470%26meid%3Db145ff0b40974358b9edf25b6c920bc8%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26sd%3D122061710227&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&autorefresh=true&nma=true&si=IP8Vak7nYdb%252FqN7jou2%252Fq9uLP8I%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc Just proves, that if you're patient, wait, make smart purchases etc... you can still get Jag stuff at a good price. For example, this bundle worked out at less than £15 per item... which is amazing tbh! Well done... whoever that was btw EDIT: Sorry, for my friends over the pond, just under $20 per item
  2. Consoles used to be £20 - £40 not all that long ago, boxed. For whatever reason, over the past 2/3 years, Jag prices have gone "full retard". $150 is insane, regardless of what the 'market' supposedly tells us...
  3. - I'm pretty sure... "YESSS!!!" is the correct response to this post?! Oh no. I forgot. It's "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!"
  4. Man! If I had to trim my collection right down to 10 or less titles, it would be: Tempest 2k Iron Soldier Super Burnout Power Drive Rally Wolf 3D Protector SE Ultra Vortek AvP Then either; Iron Soldier 2 or (oddly) Val D'Isere. Cybermorph
  5. Synbios! Cool to see you around dude. Yes. I'm still alive. Just a little less active at certain forums vs others Incidentally, haven't seen you around certain parts for sometime either?
  6. Indeed. I own the Doom Complete for PS3 (PSN) and, although it's great (uncompromised), I prefer the PS1 version for it's better atmosphere, more tasteful visuals/palettes, upgraded music and SFX, better lighting etc. Easily the definitive version for me :-)
  7. Ah! Clear Cart versions of Protector SE and SkyHammer seems so right... but after shipping and the inevitable 20% Import Tax on top PLUS Royal Mails 'admin fee'... it's just not worth the cost to 'upgrade' vs already owning the 'standard' versions
  8. Would help if PPL knew where in the world you are located!
  9. You mean, it runs above our acceptable medium of .0000325 frames per second? Excellent. Time to stack 'em, pack 'em and rack 'em...
  10. See. There's the point. This reseller is 'trying' to sell his copy for $250. Doesn't mean it's worth that. Which reminds me... I need to put my car up for sale. I think $500,000 is a fair price... for a fairly uncommon Nissan NX Coupe. Don't you agree? Hmmm. I think Minux has offered the best advise here
  11. Also, the Megadrive version ran at an abysmal framerate (like 25fps or something). How does the Jag one run? Does it run something closer to 60fps?
  12. That's generous, however, he wants a rolled one so that it looks less unsightly when hung on a wall. In particular, folded posters look gash when they're put in a frame, like in your games room for example
  13. So... what would it look like, preferably, in your opinion? Genuinely curious Even if getting some cart molds done was cheaper, quicker and easier, would you still opt to use 3D printing? Also, is the quality of the 3D printed plastic as good quality as a molded Jag Cart? Sorry for the hypothetical questions but, I actually know little about 3D printing and the quality of it etc
  14. Ah! Checkered Flag... where the game's framerate is dramatically improved when viewed/seen as a static image...
  15. In the 'field' of retro gaming/collecting, SD Carts shouldn't affect the value of the majority of titles for consoles. If anything, it can have the opposite effect, like emulation for example. It allows people to try games on the hardware, before they buy it. Off the back of this, quite often, collecting is actually 'born', as opposed to discouraged. I admit, I used to play obscure Japanese Dreamcast games, bought as dodgy 'burned' discs from a friend for a pittance, back in the day. Games I'd never heard of like 'Ikaruga', Border Down' and 'Mark of the Wolves' (they were never released in the UK). As a result of exposing myself to games I could never access or afford, it helped educate me and I since own 2x JPN DC's and around 100 original games. All thanks to, should we say' illegitimate access
  16. Ah yes. the indisputable classic:... Beakout 2000!
  17. ##### - I REALLY WISH - ##### That a new poll be set-up with ONLY 25 games as opposed to the 2 separate polls. That will give us our real answer. All we do is eliminate the least voted to date to round down to 25 Nobody agree? I guess it's my OCD...
  18. Well, I've been playing your 3DO for decades now so, I guess... better late than never... eh Trip?
  19. Ah! The disappointment! When you load it up... play it for 10-15 mins and then go "Ah... so that was Battlesphere... Next!!" Then you put T2K, IS & Wolf3D on, and realise how much better those games are for a fraction of the price...
  20. Yeah. That rental case is cool. A Jaguar one and NeoGeo one (if it exists) would be the coolest imo. Congrats. That's a great pick up. There'll be plenty of unsaid envy for those who frequent this thread without posting
  21. The hits really do keep coming with the Jag, more than any other console tbh! This is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations and well done. I'll definitely be down for one of these...
  22. FYI... This whole poll is 'broken' / false anyway, as 2x votes are required; 1 vote per list. You just need to set up a 'new Poll with ONLY 25 choices. Then you'll get you're real answer, even though I suspect it will deffo be Gauntlet 2.
  23. IK+ By far. The only reason I still had my A500 until recently. This one amazing game. Shame the PS1 port was turd
  24. Just out of interest (probably detailed in a previous thread?), but, in the end, how many copies did you manage to get ready for pre-order?
