  1. Scrolling down on that same page I read this: 12) Can paddles from previous Atari Flashback versions or the original Atari work on the Atari Flashback 9? Atari Flashback 9 Boom and Atari Flashback 9 Gold are not compatible with original Atari paddle controllers or previous AtGames paddle controllers. The 2018 versions of the AtGames paddles only work with the Atari Flashback 9 Boom and Atari Flashback 9 Gold, and do not work on any other platforms or previous AtGames systems. Did I read that right or did they just contradict themselves?!
  2. I wonder why they chose to list schedules for Minnesota & Milwaukee? Milwaukee I understand because they finished they went to the World Series in 1982. Why not include St. Louis instead whom they played?
  3. One other thing to consider is the FB9's have an SD card slot that allows you to load as many game roms as you want after a firmware update!
  4. Look no further than here! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/231433-the-ultimate-intellivision-flashback/page-1?hl=+flashback
  5. I watched this video yesterday and I have to say it was AWESOME! I appreciate how you included many early football games in comparison, including game play. I had grown up playing most of those games, but was surprised and appreciative you included XOR's NFL Challenge. I was obsessed with that PC game and even used it to simulate the Super Bowl into the 1990's! I don't know if I missed it, but I would have liked to see Intellivision NFL Football covered with that bunch. Again, I really like how you compared a wide range of games in one video. I made a point to subscribe and will check out your other videos. Keep up the good work! One question, will you be doing a similar video for hockey? I would love to see a comparison of Atari's Ice Hockey, Intellivision's Super Pro Slap Shot Hockey, NES Ice Hockey, and EA's NHLPA Hockey!
  6. When so many others have tried the update and succeeded, it seems like: 1. You got a bad system or 2. Using the 16GB card was the issue since they recommend 8GB and smaller At this point you have nothing to lose putting the update file on a blank 8GB or smaller SD card, then trying the update again. If that doesn't work, I would exchange your system for another and try again. Did you make sure you used the file that is at the beginning of this thread? There have been others that accidentally grabbed the wrong one on AtGames' site and that messed up there system as well...
  7. I can't come up with any others. I'm just ecstatic that Pac Man 8k, Scramble, Space Rocks, and Donkey Kong VCS works on the FB9!
  8. I just added the Williams arcade rom for Sega Genesis and I was able to play all those titles!
  9. Is this game RPG available in rom format? It looks incredible and I would love to check it out!
  10. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you won't be able to play 5200 & 7800 titles on Stella. I'm not sure they would put multiple emulators on the FB. It seems trouble enough for them to do one.
  11. I'm not tech savy with electronics, so hopefully Bill can pass this info onto AtGames so they will hopefully make these new paddles to work with their FB9? Let's hope so!
  12. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Bill. This (FB9 Gold) is by far the best version of the flashback. Adding paddle support will complete it perfectly...
  13. Apparently they are not as disposable as the Retron 77. I've read reviews on here that caused the buyers to return them as they broke right away or were DOA. That's just piss poor!
  14. Not surprised it has a lower shelf life than the Flashbacks...
  15. That and "killer app" as used for video games. Back in those days, apps were applications that helped you with your income tax. They were not associated with video games. It's all about the correct choice of words which some don't have obviously as they only use "uber" to describe something great. Well, there you have it!
  16. Special paddles for the 9? I thought those didn't come out yet? Or did you mod a paddle to work?
  17. 2 player co-op mode in Atlantis? Anyone know of other games like this with a 2 player co-op mode?
  18. Thanks for sharing! I will give this and some of your other games a try on my FB9 this weekend. Love the Atari 2600 homebrew scene!
  19. Sounds great! I may have to pick a copy up soon...
  20. How is that book so far? I looked it up and it looks like it would be worth reading since it isn't like all the other books going game by game.
  21. I have the same ones and I haven't ever noticed any screen static. I am using a 4 switch Atari 2600 by the way.
  22. I've got the FB9 Gold and feel the same way about not being able to use paddles. I do love the ability to add games via the SD card slot and the wireless joysticks that were included are the best ATGames has ever put out. We just need those paddles to work and it will be all set!
  23. I have a FB8 then decided to get the FB9 Gold as those games work on the 9. It may be a cost issue, but it's the easiest way to play those games in HD!
