I believe those are now gone. The standard 9 flashback is HD only.

The games that come with the system should always show up. I'm talking about games in the SD card not showing up.

I forgot to ask, are game names still limited to 17 characters and can have only one capital letter at the beginning?

Where did you see joysticks stop working on the menu?

I don't have my FB9 Gold yet, but should the firmware be put in a folder called "Game" for the update to work? It sounds like some people are saying it does, but that is not reflected in your instructions?

Do you have a folder called Game with bin files in it? If not, that's why you don't see any games.

They may be stocking for Black Friday, but their ad doesn't show the Flashback 9 Gold as being on sale. Looks like $80 is the cheapest so far without going online.

This is the only instance I have heard about a sound issue. I would exchange it for another unit to see if you get the same result.

I have the FB8 and the lag with the paddles makes playing games as impossible as using the joysticks. Let's hope this has been fixed on the FB9. Time will tell...

I wish someone would come out with a reliable stand alone digital Atari unit you can load old games and homebrews on it that would work correctly!

I know the FB 9 is out now, but the FB 9 Gold is not. So how did you get one of those if they are not released yet. Are you sure you don't mean the regular FB 9?

Let's hope getting the new paddles won't be as difficult as the other version. They were always sold out and they never knew when they were getting more in...

What kind of file/game format does this take? Maybe a better question is what kind of emulator is it (Genesis, SNES, Mame)?

They must be behind the times...

People complain about ATGames, what I can't understand is why anyone would want to play those mini arcades. Those tiny screens and controllers are a pain to use. It really tarnishes the fun factor for me.

Regardless, they deserve to be covered...

The ones for the Flashback 8 did not lag. However the paddles for the FB8 did have noticeable lag. Hopefully this is fixed for the FB9!

Jeremy, did you try an original Atari joystick in port 1? If it does not register every button press, then I would say you have a bad port and to exchange the system. Hope this helps!

Many thank you's to Flojomojo! Since you have not answered the question "are you the firmware fairy?", I'm going to take a guess and say it might have been someone else who didn't want to be named and gave you the file to upload. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

As with Hyperkin, the issue was hardware support for the emulator. Apparently Stella 4.0 and up require a different confirguration. On the plus side, it sounds like there will be more compatible games with the AtGames product than then Hyperkin, so that part of it is a win!
