  1. Most people would call it common sense. You don't put something in a package that doesn't protect it from being broken. That's not rocket science... Collecting every game variation MIB...that's particular!
  2. Got my controllers yesterday. It did take longer than the two day priority delivery the USPS promised although I don't know why I'm surprised by that. Also, INTV sent them in a bag instead of a box. This wouldn't have been my first choice for mail packaging. I might expect this from someone who is new to sending hardware in the mail, but not a company like Intellivision Productions. Did anyone else have their controllers sent in a bag? I'll have to plug them in and test them out to make sure nothing was damaged during delivery.
  3. Yeah, I'm not that high tech to record games and put them up on YouTube. I have only so many hours in the day and even now I hardly have time to simulate games. By the way, here are the next match ups: Night Stalkers vs Ice Trekkers Dreadnaughts vs Minotaurs Solar Sailers vs Commandos Space Hawks vs Blockade Runners
  4. Scores from the last set of games: Ice Trekkers 8 Solar Sailers 7 Minotaurs 10 Space Hawks 7 Blade Runners 9 Dreadnaughts 7 Commandos 8 Night Stalkers 4
  5. I checked and they are in stock and on sale for $20 so I put in an order. This is probably the best option as of now. Tired of cleaning old paddles to get them to work for such a short time.
  6. Forgot about that. I thought they were individual like the racing controllers. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk
  7. Do they work on two player games since they are plugged into one port?
  8. Since I found out Best Electronics is no longer selling refurbished paddle controllers, my next option would be to purchase them new from Atgames. I was wondering if anyone have used Atgames paddle controllers on an actual Atari 2600 and if they worked well? Also, since both controllers are wired into one plug, does the system recognize both paddles since they are plugged into only one port? In other words, can you still play two player games using the one plug set of controllers?
  9. Where do you get new paddles from? Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk
  10. Yes Al, I would love it if you could sell homebrew ROMs in the Atari Age store. Count me in as a regular customer for purchasing the ROM/PDF manual of a game!
  11. I have tried to order the refurbished 2600 paddles with gold contacts and they are sold out until they get more in. They don't even know when that will be!
  12. FYI, Best Electronics is currently out of the refurbished paddles.
  13. In case I haven't said it enough, I LOVE my Ultimate Intellivision Flashback! (shameless plug over)
  14. My tracking info has been updated and it's on the way!
  15. Loving this episode so far! I'm glad to hear you guys didn't bash Zaxxon except for the fact that Coleco did the game. I didn't have this game back in the day because the arcade game was tough! Had I picked this one up, it would have been a relief not to have the isometric view during the game play. I didn't get to play this until I got my Ultimate Intellivision Flashback. You guys are correct though, it's not Zaxxon, but as a stand alone game, it's pretty fun and challenging!
  16. Well for the record, I ordered those overlays on day one and had no problem getting them. Yes there was a delay, but I got an email pretty early telling me they were going to be late. Please don't turn this into one of those threads. The difference here is I was just inquiring, not complaining.
  17. Mine was as well. I figured they must of had a big order so it will just take some time. These are going to be backups for my Ultimate Intellivision Flashback so no worries here either.
  18. Did anyone else get their controllers ordered on the first day they became available. I checked the status of mine and it's been in the pre-shipment phase since 2/26...
  19. I placed an order for two as you get charged the same shipping if you ordered just one. And to think I was going to buy another flashback off Ebay. I'm glad I held off. These will make nice backups for my Ultimate Flashback! Thanks for putting them in the store!
  20. I bought two flashbacks and after realizing they look like garbage on the big LCD screens, I decided to have one modded as an ultimate flashback so I could load my own ROMs in it. Now I have the other one to play on my tube TV upstairs or for extra controllers to use on my PC or if the other controllers go bad. Still, I wonder if I need to purchase another set?
  21. The next games coming up will be: Ice Trekkers at Solar Sailers Minotaurs at Space Hawks Blockade Runners at Dreadnaughts Commandos at Night Stalkers
  22. I've changed my mind. If you can make Mystic Castle better by increasing the time to destroy the enemies each time you touch the bat, mouse, or skull, then I am all for buying an updated ROM. As much as I enjoy Thunder Castle, it's too frustrating having such short times to kill the enemy. I am pretty sure that I'm not the only one who feels this way about that game...
