Thanks Orion_! Ordered!

Thanks for keeping the ball rolling on this. I am definitely interested, and would definitely buy.

I love all this dizziness CryanoJ! Thanks for another awesome set of ports. Hmm... What other games have "dizzy" in the title? Spindizzy World maybe?

The sound is incredible!!!!

Awesome Kr0tki! Thank you so much. It is a shame that these are hidden in the way back machine, as it would be nice if these were available on somewhere a bit more permanent, like Atari Age. I am going to find time to do an accurate 3D model (according to these drawings) and release it to the public, along with the Jaguar models as well eventually. These drawings help out tremendously. Thanks again!

I was wondering if the visualization on the Panther Wiki is legitimate or not. I can't seem to find any official documentation on the net for the design, or anything official about the Panther except for one scan of a News Release document given to certain magazines about the console at the bottom of this page. I also found a 3D visualization on this website which claims that is has been modeled after drawings in some official documentation in Curta Vandela's archive, but it doesn't show any documentation to backup the claim unfortunately. The fact there are two different visualization on two different sites leads me to believe that there possibly is an official source for these visualizations. I was wondering if someone could confirm the console design with something official. I am looking to do some art, and I would like to be at least somewhat accurate in my visualizations of the console. I understand it is a long-shot, but I thought I would ask, just in case if someone had some additional info on the Panther's console design.

Awesome news Orion_! Can't wait to purchase and play. If you provide a ROM download for purchase, I will plan on getting both the CD and ROM.

I certainly can't complain, thanks again. I fear that precious work time will be wasted with friends at the office next Monday because of this . I'll see if I can get a vid posted when that time comes. As a quick note, just in case it might be a bug, second player's sword button wasn't working the first time I dropped it to the jag through the skunk. Moving around worked fine for player two and one, but only player one was able to swing his sword. I was worried that the buttons went out on my second controller, so, I turned the system off, swapped player one and player two controllers, started the game again, and everything worked for both player one and two. I double checked, switched the controllers again to the original situation where the problem occured the first time, and everything worked. Not sure if it was my system warming up or what... I have reloaded the game 9-10 times now to try to reproduce the bug with no luck. Not much help I know, I can't seem to reproduce the problem for testing, but thought I should post it in case someone else runs into the problem. Pic for fun. I love how simple but fun this game is, especially the reactions generated during multiplayer.

Amazing turn around! Thank you so much CyranoJ!

Love this game. Thanks for another great port. "Barbarian Sword Fight" is also awesome in some respects. Ah... So many hours of us loping each others heads off. Could you please put this one in your queue CryanoJ?

Sorry to hear this. I'm hoping you wake up with inspiration one morning on how to overcome the code problems you are encountering with Alice. And, if no inspiration hits, thanks again for all your effort in bringing some great titles to the Jaguar.

I have personally never seen this stuff, thanks for providing the download. But, now I am greedy Any chance we may see anything else that was exclusive to JSII? Looking forward to watching these vids though.

Quick question about two different Jag power supplies.
BitJag replied to CGQuarterly's topic in Atari Jaguar
I have used both of the versions of the OEM power supply you have listed, and a third one that has a embossed black label with details. They all seem to work fine, without any differences for me. I haven't done a whole lot of experimenting though. -
*pinch* Holy crap! I am awake! This is awesome!

Looks like fun. Can't wait to buy a bit more love for my Jag and DC. Awesome work Orion_!

Awesome! It's good to hear that those molds got into the hands of someone who can use them. Thank you so much for the offer, and expect my order soon

You guys are incredible. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Looks fun! Excited to play this game and all the other Raptor programs we'll see in the future.

Great news, and hopefully the best Christmas ever! It is awesome to see this kind of effort to make the Jaguar more accessible than ever. Thanks!

Built and working great in Kubuntu Linux 32 and 64-bit. Thank you so much for your continued work on VirtualJaguar Shamus. Something I stumbled upon, while trying to find the keyboard toggle for fullscreen. Also something I can't seem to find a reference to in the documentation, is pressing f11 on my keyboard, after starting Downfall, seems to slow down emulation slightly. I have checked configuration before and after hitting f11, and it doesn't seem to be changing anything in there. It also doesn't seem to be an on/off switch for something, as pressing it again seems to have no effect after it is pressed once. Can anyone else replicate this? Could just be some global option on my system too...

A little late to this discussion, but it was incredible to play something like this for the Lynx. If this is every released in a more complete state (sorry for the general term...) I will buy two copies. Just so my other Lynx isn't lonely of course. Awesome work!

Elansar & Yopaz IceStar, 2 new games available for Jaguar CD !
BitJag replied to Orion_'s topic in Atari Jaguar
Recieved both games today. Wanted to quickly report what I have experienced with my purchase from Console 5, so far. Elansar CD I have played through it completely, and the only issue I ran into, was the intro video. About 5 seconds in, it would pause, the audio would continue, and then, right before the fade out at the end of the video, it would continue. Could the pause in the video be a bit-rate issue. From what I understand, and please correct me if I am wrong, the read speed on the Jaguar CD is topped out at 300 KB/s. So, could it be that the bit-rate of the video exceeds that 300 KB/s limit, temporarily, causing the video stream to stop for that portion of the video? (I am not sure what kind of behavior an exceeded bit-rate would have on the hardware). That doesn't quite explain why the audio would still be playing though, unless the Jaguar is handling both streams separately, on the fly. Maybe a bad video conversion? Playing it through this time has been much more gratifying. I appreciate the work that went into this game, and it would be awesome to see more games like it in the future. Personally preference of course Yopaz Ice Star Works great. Played through a bunch of levels, no problems. ______________________ Regardless, thanks Orion_ for another set of great releases. Keep'em coming! -
Like What madman said, Best Electronics is the way to go. It certainly beats out that $300,000 price you were talking about. Here's a link in case you wish to jump straight to the page. http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/power%20guide.htm#Combo

Cool find. Here is some "Googled" information about it. http://www.zophar.net/fileuploads/2/10652sjsfs/JaguarServer.txt http://laurent68k.free.fr/Site/Jaguar.html Like what madman said, Looks like it was a set of developer tools for programming Jag games on the Atari ST and Falcon line of computers developed between 1997-2000. The first link includes instructions on how to perform the modification that your console may have. If only I still had an ST....
