  1. Last call for alcohol my friends. The sale ends today! http://williamthorup.com/product/inktober-2016-book/
  2. Thanks. Unfortunately, no Lynx I currently. But the future may hold a few surprises.
  3. The full post is in the marketplace. I just want to make sure everyone who is interested gets a chance to see it before the sale ends. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/261416-inktober-2016-book-atari-propaganda-atari-console-fanart-collection/

  6. A real labor of love is finally complete. An Atari drawing for everyday of the month of October 2016 (31 drawings), now in one beautifully printed collection, Inktober 2016 | Atari Propaganda. Atari Lynx, Atari ST, and Atari Jaguar are featured most of the time, but there are a few bonuses in there as well. Because I am not one for heavy marketing, I want to make sure that everyone who would like a copy of this collection can get it for a deal right up front. I also don't want to spend the next year packing and shipping books, I got more Atari art to make darn it! So here is a bit of encouragement to purchase sooner rather than later. If you purchase the Atari Propaganda collection before the end of the day January 27th, you can get the $20 book for $18 USD (%10 off). If that is still too much, sign up for my mailing list (link at the top of my website) and get an additional %15 off of a single copy making your purchase $15 + shipping. This includes a dated signature from the artist of course. Not interested in buying the whole collection? Not a problem, I also have all the larger (8.5x11") art prints of every drawing on sale as well for $7 a piece. Pick the ones you really want, without the hassle of flipping the pages of a book. Thank you for the support, and enjoy the Atari fan art goodness! 7. In my opinion, no. Got one of mine for $100 buy it now just a couple of years ago, and I thought that was too much for a controller for a console that many gamers don't care about (Is the demand for pro-controllers really that high now?). This opinion is determined by the amount of money I can spend on these kind of things, and because I have chosen not to buy games/controllers to have them sit on a shelf, but to play them. So, I also measure how much I want to play a game or use a controller (the experience), against the price the seller is asking for. This opinion will be different from person to person. There aren't any set "rules" for determining a normal price for a pro-controller unfortunately. I keep in mind that there are people out there who will buy a controller for $1000 dollars, if they believed there wasn't any other choice, and they "need" it to finish their collection. If you got to have it, who cares about normal. I am not that kind of person, the cost would outweigh the experience. Also, paying triple for something that only a few years ago wasn't perceived as rare, and now in a short period of time is "rare", doesn't constitute as normal in my mind. This is just a thought though...
  8. I see your inordinately priced pro-controller and raise you an insanely priced Towers II. It's the awesome title of the listing that makes it $500 more than other listings. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Towers-II-Plight-of-the-Stargazer-Atari-Jaguar-NEW-SEALED-GEM-MINT-RARE-/222384821757?hash=item33c72b15fd:g:g14AAOSw-0xYg2kf But seriously, do these people know how to use the ebay search box . I remember when pro-controllers and copies of Towers II were going for about $100, it wasn't that long ago. But like travistouchdown said, the pendulum will swing back the other direction eventually.
  9. We didn't expect those to go so fast on Ebay. Apparently there is a whole group of people there that don't know that this forum exists. There are still a few copies left for anyone who is interested. We are going to avoid posting these on Ebay so people here have a chance for now. We are also planning on assembling ~20 more carts, to continue to try and offset the marked up copies.
  10. Listing is up. The $5 USD price markup is to cover Ebay fees, unfortunately... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-Jaguar-Cartridge-Homebrew-Flappy-McFur-/222377907844?hash=item33c6c19684 We will keep the listing up as long as we have materials for physical copies. Which is about 10 units. After that, we will probably put together a running interest list, and once we reach a minimum (~25) of interested buyers we will do another run. (Single units are too costly to produce because of box die cuts and printing). We are still planning on releasing a edited/marked ROM for free sometime this quarter, so if you aren't worried about having a cartridge, you will have the opportunity to play Flappy McFur on an emulator or skunk (and hopefully there won't be to many bootlegs of this ROM in plastic popping up on ebay because of this ... ). If there is still anyone on the forum who wants to purchase a single copy or collector's bundle (who hasn't already), please send a personal message here on AA or goto to the store here. We would like to avoid selling stuff through Ebay if possible, plus it will save you some money to purchase directly from us.
  11. Thanks for pointing this out. We will have a eBay listing up soon, at a much more reasonable price.

ooooo... With the exception of Zaku, this is the first time I have seen a board as thin as an official release. Did you make that by hand?
  13. No worries, I will be doing one more check on the social media channels and then send out messages soon.
  14. Give it time. I am sure someone will get it eventually. I think in the video you can see me using the number pad to put it in...
  15. Here is the link for the archived video . https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=FvpttzTnudg
  16. A small announcement. We figured everyone who has a copy of the game has had enough time to practice and beat it by now. For those who haven't beaten it yet, but would like to see what happens when you do, we will have a spoiler filled live streaming of us beating it tomorrow at noon our time or 7:00 PM (GMT/UK). Afterwards we will probably spend some time playing Tempest 2000 or something multiplayer. As an extra bonus, we are planning doing a small giveaway, we just haven't decided on what and how that will happen yet. If you are subscribed to our channel you should see a notification if you haven't turned off notifications for our channel. If you aren't subscribed here is a link to the YouTube channel to keep an eye out for it. We will also post here one more time before the show starts. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjcnSIzsCTi4vGGhO2tg9VQ We will be streaming for about an hour and would like to answer any questions anyone may have. You can either post them here, or shoot an email to [email protected] and we will get them on our list. We will have the chat open, but we don't know how much we will be paying attention to it, so now is the time to get your question in. See you tomorrow!
  17. Thanks for the positive comments everyone, we hope Christmas has been good so far for you all. Here is a short video of the demo running on hardware for those who don't have a skunk handy at the moment.
  18. A S=small gift from McFur and Cutter. Merry Christmas everyone. bj_xmas_2016.rom
  19. Jaguar, it's the gift that gives back. Always in red...
  20. Last update before the end of the year. We sent out the last of the current orders a few days ago (Including all Inktober art print orders). Hopefully our European friends will get their packages before Christmas. ( Cross your fingers ) For those who wander in late or are still on the fence, we still have a handful of copies available for you. Once we get below 10 copies or so, we will put the available stock amount on the product page. Thanks again for the support from everyone here and on other social media channels. This has been a great experience for us because of all of you. Have a pleasant holiday and a happy new year!
  21. Thanks Guitari! I have only played the original Flappy Bird 2 or 3 times myself, just to compare difficulty, and in my opinion, the original is still much harder than Flappy McFur. The main difference between the two is that Flappy McFur's movement is far more predictable that Flappy Bird's. We figured a disembodied Jaguar head would fall more like a stone instead of the almost feather floating randomness of a bird. It was interesting during play testing to see how well people did the first time. Nearly everyone would hit the first pipe or ground. After that though, some people would only get through the first pipe while others would breeze through 5-10 pipes. It also depends on the play mode as well, as there is a tapping timing strategy for each one. We tweeked spacing between pipes and collision boxes a ton during play testing to try to get the right balance of at least some progression every round for every player and enough challenge that someone can't beat it in 10 - 20 minutes. With our few play testers, after a few minutes of play on a specific play mode, they all were eventually passing a handfull of pipes each time. It does take a bit more time to refine the technique though, and to learn how to anticipate certain situations. A small tip for anyone who wants the shortest route to the end. The fastest way to the finish line is Flyer mode. And a few of our play testers consider this mode the easiest to learn as well. I promise, the game is beatable. Thank you for the feedback and good luck
  22. Small status update. With the exception of a few orders, all current orders have been shipped. The few remaining orders are currently on hold because we had a miscommunication with our printer about the Inktober prints, and they were delayed a week. We are hoping they will be finished Monday or Tuesday, and we will make it a priority to get those out this early this coming week, so all current orders will get their copies of Flappy McFur before Christmas. Sorry about the small delay. Has anyone beat the game yet? (No spoilers please.)
