  1. I am not trying to get them all, but the ones I am interested in seem to be the rare ones. So far I have Bowser, Link, Zelda, and Samus. I am not trying to get Pokemon characters, villager, fox, little mac, wii fit trainer, or kirby characters. That being said, I still can't get the Xenoblade Chronicals character Shulk, the Kid Icarus character Pit, or the Fire Emblem characters, because these are "rare" and were/will be jumped on by re-sellers. I really wish Nintendo would do the fans a service and squash the re-seller market for these and either make them available through the nintendo store, or flood the market and devalue them to msrp. I am not paying above msrp for toys, I can hardly get myself to feel justified spending 14$ on a tiny figure for posterity.
  2. Canceling this, I likely can't get them working so someone who is more adept should grab them. Thanks for the offer!
  3. Up for grabs is the manual, art insert, and safety info insert for Lego Marvel Super Heroes DS
  4. Monday morning bump. Still looking for the game, if I get it I will update this thread. Thanks for looking!
  5. Thanks, I'm glad I never got rid of my Super Castlevania IV because it's also gotten pricey. 10$ is a great deal, I would not expect to get it for that low, but I don't want to spend 45$ on a loose copy lol. Thanks for the encouragement, the hunt continues!
  6. As the title says, I am looking to find a copy of Castlevania Bloodlines. I've lurked on ebay for a couple months now, but the price has been too high and I've not been able to get it at a price that I am willing to pay. I had recently played through Super Castlevania IV and that put me on the hunt to find the Genesis brother to see what I had missed as a SNESnob as a kid I do not need a box and manual, but would willing to consider buying either box or manual if they're available. I am fine with reproduction cases, too. Thanks!
  7. well, first borderline nsfw ebay seller of oldschool games has been found, looking at his other listings is awesome, but sketchy at work hahahah
  8. I've been playing Skyward Sword on the Wii U and really enjoy it. I have component cables, so maybe I'll do a comparison as suggested, but I had assumed the video output of the Wii was significantly worse, color range and upscaling. I didn't notice any screen cutoff, but now I want to look into it myself. I also played skyward sword on the gamepad, leaving the sensor bar in place and aligning myself with it on my couch, so my girlfriend could watch a show, and it worked fine. For the first time I used that wii u pad stand, hahaha
  9. I'd be interested in Mushihimesama if I were not so far away, and I am not sure I can play it. Can it be played on a NTSC-US system, I haven't looked into playing NTSC-J games, but would love to learn. Thanks for posting, all this stuff is very cool and seems very fairly priced - I hope it sells fast for some win wins on the board

  12. Intellevision dude, if you dont mind for any one of those NHL games can be shot my way, I would be very greatful! pm sent to op, thanks!
  13. As someone that has worked on a game that was put up and taken down, it's pretty sad I worked on a Zynga IOS game (baseball slam) that they took down, so now it's hard to show people what I did on it
  14. That does look a lot better, makes sense why it's 3x as expensive as the original Turrican. Looks like a blast
  15. The offset character attack on the overworld was a huge adjustment for me, but once I got used to offsetting my character with the enemy it became a lot easier. Also, "kiting" enemies seems to work the best. It bothered me initially how enemies never stop spawning, but there is usually a max to the amount of enemies that will be alive at once. I would run circles around them until they bunch up, and the pull them into a choke point and kill them all fast. I thought it was a lot of fun strategics planning my attacks. I used to hate password features before the modern age of digital cameras, now my phone is full of passwords. I can see how it's cumborsom, but for me it's no longer a detterant - while in the past I would just outright not play a game if there were passwords especially if the paswords had l's I's and 1's or O's 0's etc. Edit: It should be mentioned too, that this game was developed by Compile, which is why it probably has the shump influence. Give it a go again, if you haven't in a while I have a lot of fun with this one as well. It reminds me of a Ninja version of Gunsmoke on NES which I had back in '86 or so. I never had the Ninja back in the day or I might love this like I love gunsmoke. I like how you can strife, and go invisible to avoid attacks. A ton of fun
  16. I love my master system, picked it up this time last year. I had a power base converter and a few games growing up, but the best games I have I've gotten over this last year since I got the console. Phantasy Star was mind blowing considering the age of the game, and the competition at the time of its release. It holds up today, but I think you have to either use maps or make them - I tried making them and it was fun, but I eventually gave in to checking online to progress. Govellius is what I have been playing most recently, and it's an absolute blast. I most often hear that it's a Zelda clone, and while yes that's hard to deny, it seriously undersells the gameplay creativity. The dungeons are more like a SHMUP than a Zelda clone. I'd say it's the level structure of Zelda II. Instead of going into battle for encounters like in Zelda 2, you instead go fight on the overworld like Zelda, or Crystalis if you've played that. When you are in dungeons, instead of metroidvania level design, the dungeon is progressed through like a SHMUP. In addition to these systems, there's a progression system like a lot of RPGS at the time where you grind enemies for gold to upgrade your character in order to progress. Highly reccomended for fun and unique gameplay combinations - add to it great graphics and addictive soundtrack, and you have a winner IMO. Cyborg Hunter is another I've been playing a bit of recently, and I really feel like this game is ahead of its time. A side scrolling shooter kind of like metroid, but there is a first person view on screen at all times that shows you enemies off screen, and a map system screen, and upgrade weapons and items. I really enjoy it. The only game on the system I've beaten is Ghouls N' Ghosts. Yep, and this is the only version I've beaten. If you've ever wanted to tell people you've beaten Ghouls N' Ghosts, this is the version to do it Really though, it's a fun version if you can get over the massive slowdown. I actually had a lot of fun with a random game, Dick Tracey. The gameplay is oddly addicting lol
  17. Thanks for posting this and making me feel less insane for not hating this game. I've player Super Turrican, and Turrican on Genesis, about the same amount, and they honestly don't seem to have as large a gap between them as this thread makes it seem. Super Turrican has smoother control and gameplay and graphics, but I would expect that from a sequel. After watching the Amiga video posted earlier this thread I felt like questioning what I was missing aside from the 50 to 60hz speed difference, music, and minor graphical differences. It's not the best game I own on Genesis, but I have had fun playing it the time I have. This whole discussion makes me very curious about Mega Turrican - is it really significantly better?
  18. How is it no one talks about the excellent Shining the Holy Arc. I am about 20 hours into a playthrough right now, and loving it possibly more than when I played it back in the day. Great graphics, fun gameplay, and the story is decent as well. It almost makes me want to give Shining Wisdom (zelda clone) another shot, or Mysteria (tactical RPG) a go again. I also enjoyed Magic Knight Ray Earth and the excellent JRPG Albert Odysee. These are a bit pricier but still really fun, and worth picking up if you find them at a price that seems reasonable to you.
  19. Thanks for the PSA, good to know this is one to avoid
  20. Is this joystick 8 direction, or 4? I am starting to consider not trying to add this to the collection. Is this one to avoid, or is it just weird and a curve to get used to?
  21. I'll take pics of the box I have, I am curious if this is correct, but mine has oval buttons and came with 3 games. It may've been a Electronics Botique's mixup where they swapped the console out of the box. I don't remember what the picture on the box shows, but I wound up with oval button model and model 1 controller with 3 games in 1998/99 when I bought the system.
  22. I agree, but hopefully this didn't ruin it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_Dragon
  23. I have been absolutely addicted to Shining the Holy Arc lately. I had it when it launched, but at the time was confused by it and couldn't get into it. I popped it in to give it another run, and not only started noticing the similarities to the golden sun series, but also how to use the pixies and how to find secrete items! When I get tired of the grind, I pop in Galactic Attack a game I picked up recently off the forums, and I love it! Before that my saturn was basically a Dragon Force machine, my favorite game on the system. I also really enjoyed Panzer Dragoon (Still on the hunt for the second one!), and Panzer Dragoon Saga (I picked this instead of Zweii back then, no regrets!), Albert Odyssey, and Magic Knight Ray Earth. There is a long list of titles I want to try for the system, but my library is limited. I loved what games I had for it growing up, but my rental store didn't have many saturn games so I wasn't able to play most.
  24. I've played it the most on the game boy advance ports that came with the mario advance series really enjoyable link play. My highschool girlfriend and I spent a lot of time playing it. For me it's GBA>NES>2600
  25. Aren't you in San Diego? Share the love man where is this magical mecca of actually finding stuff?! I need a Xbox I'd double your investment with a 10$ purchase
