IMHO, the DS is the biggest gimmick in years. There's no good reason to have a touch screen, or a second screen at all. I'll definetely be getting a PSP. I don't know about the Dreamcast being a joke, though...

I used to dream about tiles when I was playing Tetris Worlds obsessively. Is it normal to dream about killing your friends in Quake 3?

It says that this was achieved through a patch that essentially crappifies the graphics. Is there any way to do this with an Intel Extreme 2 card?

Ok, you know what? Anyone here can talk about any system or company they want. I don't care if no one here likes M$ (which isn't true anyway). I could say that Metroid Prime is overrated. Or Super Mario 64.

This game is freaking awesome. You're going to have a lot of fun when you get to X-Labs.

Does anyone remember that Game Gear Commearcial where the kid playing the Game Boy hits himself in the face with a dead squirrel to see colors? Then they show a kid playing a Game Gear with a *color* screen. It was on around 1993.

I don't see why having online capabilities would be any reason to not get a certain console. You don't have to play online, and almost all of the games that support online play also have single player.

Jeez, this is tough to decide... either Shenmue, Twisted Metal 2/4, Splinter Cell, Pong, Super Mario Bros, Sonic 2, Daytona USA, or Doom. Don't even try to make me pick just one.

The warp thing in Yars' Revenge, the lasers in Laser Blast, and the explosions in Kaboom. Un-freaking-believable when your only other gaming experience is Pong.

I think it was a good idea, but it would have been a niche product. No one would catch on the the concept of downloading games, and the system would go nowhere real fast.

Yeah, I was wondering what "Ulala" was supposed to mean... As for Nintendo reaching a new low, I agree. C'mon, this is a Nintendo ad! Anyone who would find it appealing will probably be buying the PSP anyway.

I originally bought a PS2 just for Twisted Metal: Black, but later sold it because it had no more games I really wanted to play. I bought an Xbox after I sold the PS2 because it had the hard drive so I could put all my CD's on it, and because Xbox has more first person shooters.

Actually, figgler, it goes like this: anyone who is under 10 years old and/or has an IQ under 75 will buy the DS. Anyone else will buy the PSP. People who want games with confusing controls about fat plumbers will buy the DS. Anyone else will buy the PSP. People who want the same jumping over a shroom 1-up deal they've been getting for 20 years will buy the DS. People who want fresh games will buy the PSP.

IMHO, this game is like Halo: you don't see what's so great about it until you've played with a group of people.

I think DOA2 uses fruit in one of the gameplay modes. Fruit and hot dogs.

If it is a tech demo, it's got to be pretty dated if it was started back in '97. I wouldn't be surprised if there is no game or tech demo at all, and it's all hype.
