I can play Bowling, Gopher and Spider Fighter for hours and never get bored. Oh, and Arcade Pinball.

Seriously, Night Trap is probably the best of the FMV lot. There's alot going on in the game and replay value is kinda high. Plus the cheesy acting/Dana Plato make things a blast when you're buddies are around and in the need to mock something.

Yes, I second the recommendation for VAY... hard to come by, but a fun RPG.

In the Quartermann section of the latest EGM, there was a rumor that Sony, in response to the lack of hard drive support for this new slim PS2, was going to be making new memory cards with enough storage space to replace the need for the HD.

It's the "Malibu Stacy has a new hat" syndrome.

I had one back when I was collecting everything related to classic gaming. Now I just collect what's enjoyable, and therefore the Arcadia won't be making it back into my collection. I still have some carts for it that I can't even get rid of. It's just very lackluster overall... there's nothing amazing about it and there's no killer game that makes it a must have.

I wonder what the points system is.

See, that's the thing... it probably would have gotten that high during normal bidding... but starting it that high puts a lot of people off.
