  1. NE146... the holiday addition to your avatar makes it all the more disturbing...
  2. Is it because of the holiday that things are getting slightly silly like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8151437510&rd=1
  3. How can you tell a gatefold? Is it the coloring of the letters?
  4. I'm not an academy member, but as a member of the press I do get academy screeners. However, I collect them, and would never trade them, and therefore nothing in this listing has any of those problems.
  5. And it's in "Played-with condition".
  6. Well this is just unnecessary. I put in my highest price... I knew full well I could be outbid. I wasn't venting about the CONCEPT or PRACTICE of sniping... just that I'd lost the auction at the last second. Everyone needs to just cool out here. I'm not ranting against snipers so no one who snipes should be so up in arms about this post.
  7. I dont get it. What's wrong with the seller's feedback?
  8. That can't be right. It must come with crack or something.
  9. Added a new section of stuff today... lots more to rummage through too.
  10. Here's the flaw I've noticed so far. Someone wants to buy the William Shatner Saturday Night Live on DVD or VHS. Well I have it on both. But in order to sell it, you've got to list it. And if you list it, Ebay will shut it down. So at the very least, they need to put the same restrictions on these "Wanted" ads that they put on the listings.
  11. Out of my price range already... so I thought I'd let everyone else have a go: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8150574682
  12. Picked this up at Books-A-Million the other day. A good little resource to have with you in the car or at work. Comes in handy when that long forgotten handheld pops into mind and you need to figure out the exact name of it. I enjoyed reading about the arcade auctions too, I'm now looking to attend one just to watch one in action.
  13. I agree with that. That funky copy of Breakout for example, the one that's all orange... I own that even though I own the regular one as well. It's just too interesting to pass up. Re: the Gravitar in the auction I lost... I was just hoping to get a R8 (my first) at a bargain. The auction didn't hype the cart as if it was rare, and so it was a thrilling little find that I was hoping no one else noticed.
  14. Complaining about snipers and damning them is two different things. I know all about the practice... it's fine with me. Still doesn't make getting sniped at the last nanosecond any less frustrating. I thought I was getting a deal, that's all.
  15. Arrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Got me on a last second snipe. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8150274577 Silver label Gravitar hidden in there... damn damn damn!
  16. 12/26 UPDATE: More list cleanup and a few more odds and ends added. I work in the "entertainment biz" and as a result, I come away with a lot of free crap. Some of it I can sell off, but other stuff I prefer to trade away. That's this list. I'm moving soon, and would like to have to move as little junk as possible. I'm looking for games. All offers will be considered. I'm rebuilding my collection after having to sell it all off 3 years ago and therefore need lots of stuff, from the 2600 up through the Xbox. I have over 2200 Ebay positives and a few deals here through the forum if you need references. 17. This is bizarre for many reasons... one of which is as a registered Ebayer, I've never even heard of it! One browse of the DVDs and Movies sections shows everyone looking for copies of things that haven't been officially released. That should work well.
  18. I'd like to join the high score club... even with my paltry score. Screenshot is attached.
  19. Why not get an AdventureVision for the kids while you're at it.
  20. Sky Skipper... for whatever reason... has also eluded me the whole time I've been collecting.
  21. Yeah the Vectrex as a kids Christmas present is a bit odd. Just get an original Game Boy and a lot of carts to go with it. Cheaper than a Vectrex, that's for sure.
  22. The "investment" part of this for me only meant that if all went well, I'd "re-invest" any money I made from a pre-Xmas sale by buying one of the second wave of DSes AND a couple of games to go with it.
  23. Ugh, the EMAILER... need... edit... feature...
  24. The emailed has or had bids on 5 Vectrex units. No other gaming stuff.
