  1. Hey Junior! If you want to start collecting for the Atari 8-bit, I'd suggest starting with cartridges. Most are cheap, very few fail, and there are some excellent games available in that format. If you want to collect boxed carts, things can get more expensive, but it's a very enjoyable hunting experience. Do you have a list of what you have so far?
  2. You can probably get what you need from the original FORTRAN source code to Colossal Adventure (code and data). Warning: the code does try to intercept some "naughty" commands, and as such may not be entirely suitable for children or work. Also, programming in FORTRAN causes brain damage, so read it at your own risk, and don't say I didn't warn you.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230379292407 That is a very good price.
  4. I did try to do that, many times, with their Atari 8-bit section, but they didn't seem to care how inaccurate or out-of-date it was (and still is). Did you try the RF Generation database? You can update the database yourself there. I think I'll stick with Atarimania.
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330359621624 Decent deal.

  7. I got it today. Haven't tried it yet though. I have a date with Morpheus.
  8. If it sells for that price, my projected pension shortfall is a thing of the past! ...although maybe this should have been in the Auction Central subforum
  9. It's a good game. Using the WM+ and switching off all the aids makes for quite a challenging game, but it can also be made very simplistic so that kids can enjoy it too. It's much better than actually playing golf - but, then again, so is waterboarding.
  10. That was a great deal! A complete PB Chess is not so easy to find, and it's easily worth the $31 by itself.
  11. Mea culpa, I hadn't read the whole thing. I'm a Brit, but I have a cousin in Canada who shares his expensive magazine with several friends, so they're pretty interested in this. Thanks!
  12. That is a great deal It does seem like an oversight to exclude Canadians, though.
  13. O brother, where art thou?

    :-(

  14. The two "mystery lock" threads that you quoted seem to be replete with personal attacks. I wouldn't have thought that any further moderator explanation was necessary, and I'm glad to see that they were locked. Thanks for mentioning them, though - I hadn't read either before, and hadn't realised what I'd missed.
  15. The "View New Content" function does not check for a singular; it gives the message "There are 1 new entries" if there is just one. That make I angrily.
  16. Personally, I would have no use for the "My Posts" feature. Also, the "Reputation" and "Friends" features from the "Profile" section seem to be pointless, and likely to cause trouble.
