  1. All this talk about Imagic carts made me check. For reference, according to the list, mine was built in Jan '87, has the expansion port. M-Network carts fit. Parker Brothers carts fit. Activision carts are extremly tight, hard to get working. Imagic didn't fit. But seeing so many people say it will, I tried a bit of force...it fits now. The chamber cracked, bet the Activision carts fit better now. Wonder how many are like that, and if the explains the varying reports on if carts fit.

  2. Space Invaders - one of, if not the first game I ever played. Still love shmups to this day. So it probably influenced my tastes the most

Combat - The other possible first game I ever played

Pitfall - This was MUCH later. My bro and I found an "old Atari" at a garage sale, some time in the early 90s. We couldn't get enough of this old school platformer. Probably the 1st time we pooled our allowance for gaming. Was also the first time we saw something look that good on the thing

  3. I really like the Super Pad 64. Sturdy build with a beefy analog mechanism and more traditional lay out. The dBad and stick are rotated inwards slightly, but isn't hard to get use to. Z trigger is positioned like L2. This was my pad of choice for a recent n64 night. I have the "Plus" version with turbo and slow buttons

  4. Have to say Original 7800 version. Never cared for the way Namco handled Pacman or Ms Pacman on the NES. And I have the Genesis version, which seems to be the same as the Tengen NES (simultaneous 2-play is a blast! and THE reason to own the NES-Tengen or Genesis version), but I never liked the scrolling on these. Haven't looked into the PMC, I'll have to do that.
