  1. Hmm, well if it were me, Daubler, I'd go for both(because I'm a hardcore Atari collector). However, I will say I have more fun with the Atari 8-bit than I do the 5200. Don't get me wrong, the Atari 5200 is one of my favorites. But if I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the 8-bit.
  2. Mr. Do 5200? Yes!!!! That's awesome.
  3. Got Wolfenstein for the 3DO. IT RULES!!!

  4. I know you'll think I'm stupid for asking this, but, how do I run the Project_M file?
  5. The Atari Jaguar is an excellent version for the game. I'd put the Jag at a close second, the 3DO is just smoother, has better music and SFX, and the graphics are astonishing for a Wolfenstein game.
  6. Hey, guys, Atarindave here. I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I just got Wolfenstein 3D for the 3DO. Then it hit me, I watched a bunch of comparison videos for this game, I want your guys' opinion. 3DO Jaguar Mac DOS GBA SNES I listed these consoles by my opinion, 3DO and Jaguar rule!!! But yes, which one is the best format for this game? You decide in the comments! Also pick your favorite version of Doom if you'd like.
  7. Well, I didn't put too much work on this game, 'cause I'm already working on some 2600 stuff.
  8. Hello, there! Pong is considered very boring in gamers' minds. But I had some great moments playing that game with my family. Of course I had to make my own version of Pong. Take a look. I had a great time making this, I'll hopefully soon sell a few copies .
  9. Psh! Idk what y'all are talking about. You should just play some ET, get your mind off things. Lol I'm kidding. Anyway, I would love a new Tempest game. That would be awesome.
  10. I'm clipping my toe nails .... Oh yeah! Sweg!

  11. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone is selling Atari 5200 carts. If so please leave a reply.
  12. Things just got REAL xD. I honestly think Amiibo is useless.... Then again.... I'm a low tech gamer ....
  13. Playing the Intellivision Flashback right now. I gotta say, they did a good job on the controllers! :o

I thought the game selection was fairly decent. They included almost all of the Mattel games (but not Skiing?). I completely understand why there is a shortage of 3rd party games - they simply couldn't get the licencing for reasonable money. Now, if you want to complain about a poor selection of games, look at the Coleco Flashback....

Totally agree - it's a great unit. Love the CV flashback as well.

Well, the Coleco Vision Flashback has Pepper II, and Frenzy. Those are my two favorite games for the Coleco. I wish they asked Nintendo for permission to put Donkey Kong on there.

  14. Believe it or not, someone made the whole Star Wars movie in text mode using Command Prompt. I was so inspired after seeing his work that I had to see if I can make at least one scene from Star Wars with my Atari 800. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpnVninO4Fk <--- Take a look at what I'm talking about. I will have to use Graphics 0 mode of course .
  15. Atari 800 is way too fun..

  16. Oh oops. My bad. Thanks for telling me.
  17. So for Christmas I got a rare Atari Jaguar game. I of course tried the game out. To be honest at first I had no idea what I was playing, it was weird. But then I got the hang of it, and it turned out to be very fun. I would recommend looking for this, of course it may be very rare to find for a good price. But hey, it's worth the hunting! My Arena Football game came with a custom box, that was exciting.
  18. Well, I have been working on alot of projects. One of them was for a friend of mine(The Undergrade game....). Well, he's young so he requested, "I want this to be short and sweet, and once you beat the boss, make the game restart. Also make the boss really HARD!". So I finished the game recently. I'll try to see if I can start an emulator so that you can try it out. So stay tuned! About the game: Undergrade is an arcade puzzle/shooter game. Your goal is to destroy all of the space aliens before they take over the galaxy! Atari 800: We'll probably have this be sold onto a floppy disk. Emulator: I'm low tech, so I'm currently learning how to make emulators, program Javascript, and Batari Basic, this project is short, so yeah. I'm a beginner, this will take some time. Other: NOPE. Thank you for reading! -Dave
  19. Interesting, while I'm learning C++ and Javascript. I thought I'd do a fun project using Atari BASIC on my Atari 800. I made a project called "Swordquest: Lightworld". The game is not yet finished, but it looks cool so far. I guess I can save it onto a floppy disk and allow you guys to play it.
  20. I asked Dutchman himself, he said that infogrames did not approve. Plus his team developer quit.
  21. OVER: Pitfall, Kaboom, and Indy 500 UNDER: E.T., Haunted House, Dodge 'em, and Home Run.
  22. Whoa, I have over 100 replies, thanks guys!
