  1. Well, I think AtGames are using the Atari 2600 waaaay too much. Let's hope that the next FB would not sell well so that they can look for a new system to base their consoles on.
  2. What the, this went from Coleco Chameleon speculations, to drama between Gamester81 and Pat, then to losing faith in the Chameleon, and now eyebrow piercings? Best thread ever.
  3. https://soundcloud.com/david-j-oburke/temple A new 8-Bit tune I made. Please enjoy!

I use Rytmik Ultimate, it's available on Steam, 3DS, and ios.

  4. Heyo, I understand if something is important to you, but we're just trying to have a laugh, man. Not trying to attack nor make fun of others. I personally love the chat as well, it's always fun to talk with people who have same (or similar) interests as me. Of course, there's always that one troll or hacker here and there. But it's a great chat room.
  5. Lol, I'd prefer one treating me well with action than in words. Actions speak louder, yo.
  6. I was being sarcastic, man. Unless I was not paying attention to any news concerning the console, I don't see why I would be serious.
  7. I am not sure why so many people are accusing Mike Kennedy for trying to scam people with this project.
  8. Next thing you know. All of this was a way for the government to distract us. What could they be doing right now? Who knows.
  9. I am not sure what to think at this point. I would totally love to see the Coleco Chameleon released and available to us. But I think the real issue right now is that they are rushing into the kickstarter, etc. Give them more time, that's what they need.
  10. Though I favor vintage gaming, I also love playing on the Xbox 360, 3DS, PC, and PS4.
  11. My updated gaming desk. Toshiba laptop I use for Steam(Left), Xbox 360 and Atari XEGS(Middle), and the Atari 520ST(Right).
  12. I must say, Star Raiders for the 8-bit computers has a lot of freedom for 1979.

  13. I'm a huge gamer, so when I buy a game, then it's going to be played. Unless I find something amazing like Swordquest: Waterworld sealed in the box, I don't think any game will exist in my collection without it being played more than 10 times. (First post of a new page, wooh!)
  14. Definitely vintage for me. Because you know, I need my Star Raiders, man.
  15. I know this forum may seem a little overdue. But I think it's time that this was said on Atariage. I was first introduced with Halo playing splitscreen with some buds on Thanksgiving day. We played Halo 3, and played it for hours. That got me hooked on the whole franchise itself. When Halo 4 came out, my love for the series increased, my brothers and friends used to have Halo parties in which I would participate. We ended up laughing our tales off, and enjoy taking each other down. A couple of years later, Halo 5: Guardians is announced, and over time we hear that it has no splitscreen. Now I understand they want it to look smooth, and top of the line, but this is a tragedy in gaming. While 343i is trying to compete with COD, Gears of War, etc. the no splitscreen will bring them down without a doubt. How can they expect me to buy two Xbox Ones, and two copies of Halo 5? Okay, rant over, what are your thoughts? -Dave
  16. Welp, I almost have the money saved up for a new flat screen TV. Pretty exciting for my gaming set up.

Congratulations. Not necessarily for getting a new TV, but for being intelligent enough to save up the money instead of going into credit card debt for a TV. :)

  17. Hey, Atarians! I thought I'd shed some light on my updated gaming setup. I hope this will make you geek out like I do when I am in this room. Entry View: Entry View when the main light is off: Another angle of my gaming desk, Atari XEGS(left), NES(top left), My Toshiba Laptop(middle), and my Atari ST (Right) A little light effect I put under my desk: Next to it is my console setup: Xbox 360(top left), Atari Jaguar(top right), and Atari 2600(bottom) I am very proud of this, my Jaguar Team Tap: My shelf full of retro games in their boxes: Last but not least, the box for my favorite unit, the Atari XEGS: Welp, that's about it so far. Hope y'all like it. I plan to updated it in the near future, but as of now, I'm enjoying every inch of it. Thanks for reading.
