  1. https://soundcloud.com/david-j-oburke <-- listen to some of my 8-bit-like tunes here.
  2. I just use an iceberg table for my Atari XEGS and 520ST, this is including the printer, disk drives, monitors, etc. You could place two or three of those tables together.
  3. Lol. My apologies, I wasn't going for a 'gang'. I just got the Atari ST, and now I am a huge fan of it. So I guess it's a fan-group?
  4. Hey, Atarians. This may come out as a stupid question. But has anyone started an Atari ST brotherhood? If not, I guess I'll start it?
  5. I just bought the Atari ST with a monitor, printer, disk drives, and a ton of games and programs. It... is... AWESOME.

  6. I'm definitely a gamer. I have sealed games, but I usually go for the loose ones.
  7. Wow, it looks really cool, but yeah, it looks painted.
  8. I took the time to beat Swordquest Earthworld. Even more boring than Waterworld, but I actually thought it was cool when I got the Warrior's Sword.
  9. Welp, I beat Swordquest Earthworld. It's not too bad I guess. Just placing and taking items.. boring...

  10. Man, you are right.. When you look at it that way, technically the only good Atari console by AtGames was the FB3. (I do enjoy the FB6 because of Swordquest Waterworld and Solaris),
  11. I've come up with the same conclusion. This being said, I found a Genesis controller that actually worked very well. 2600-7800 gaming couldn't have been better.
  12. I am definitely asking and giving Video Games. I'm hoping to get a couple of Jaguar games, maybe some 5200 games as well. I'm going to be giving my friend some cheap Xbox and PS2 games. He's really into those systems.
  13. Dang, you two should be called the Super Sprite Bros, P-M-R and D_2600.
  14. Just beat Swordquest Waterworld. I wish I had the comic so that I can understand the ending :P

  15. I've been playing SwordQuest Waterworld on the Flashback 6. Best in the series I think.
  16. Yeah, if they have a rom of Superman III, I wouldn't doubt Ewok Adventure having a rom, maybe Atarimania has one? EDIT: Atarimania does have a rom.
  17. Between joysticks and dpads, I'd probably prefer dpads. I like joysticks in certain games, but most of them fit the dpad in my opinion. I think we can all agree that the wii controllers sucked.
  18. Hmm, I think Tempest might know what the game play is like. Ewok Adventure never released. ^^^ Here's a footage of the gameplay.
  19. Hmm, on the d-pad subject, I guess it depends. I find the NES and Sega d-pads to be close to perfect. The Atari Lynx had a pretty good d-pad as well. I'd say my favorite d-pad would have to be the Jaguar version. Of course, d-pads for the Xbox 360, 3DO, and Sega Dreamcast, not my favorite. However, I wouldn't go so far as to say the d-pad is worse than the 5200 controller. The 5200 controller sucks, and is only good for certain games like Missile Command.
  20. Atari + Nintendo + Sega = AWESOME!!! I've been playing Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. on the 2600 with a Sega Genesis controller.
  21. I actually understand where you're coming at, TTP. For me, like you, I never grew up with the old systems. I started with the NES, I adored it. When I got the 2600, I immediately thought Atari was BETTER than Nintendo. But of course, it all comes down to opinion, you can say Atari sucks, but you have to consider it's standards by it's time line. Most people I meet actually think Atari is cool, but they always put Nintendo and Sega waaaay above Atari.
  22. Oh, thanks for the info. I bought a Parker Brothers Gaming Catalog for two dollars. Ewok Adventure was on there, so I assumed it was released.
  23. What's going on, guys? Not too long ago I got Jedi Arena for the 2600. Long before that, I got the Empire Strikes Back game for the 2600 as well. I noticed that there are two Return of the Jedi games for a few Atari systems, one is Death Star Battle, and the other is Ewok Adventure, since I couldn't find Ewok Adventure on Ebay, I think I'll pass on it for now. However, on my search for Death Star Battle, I found a few listings for the 2600, and plenty of listings for the Atari 8-bit computer. Which would you recommend, the 2600 version, or the 8-bit version? Side Question: How rare is Ewok Adventure? I couldn't find it anywhere! If any of you guys know anything about it, feel free to share! -Dave
  24. Eh, at this point I am not interested in a Flashback 7.... Srsly, I like the FB6 and everything, but there is no freaking way I'm gonna spend another $40 for the same games I have plus a few different ones. If they could just focus on some other fun Atari systems instead of doing 7 do-overs of the 2600, then I'd be interested.
  25. Just got Joust for the Atari 400/800/XL/XE, good game.

It was awful on Midway Arcade Classics for the Game Boy Advance, but all the games on that collection were.

I thought the 2600 port was very good considering the hardware limitations
