  1. Still stuck at level 4. Frustrating, but in a fun way 😁
  2. I found a used Jaguar a week ago. It didn't come with a AV cable, so I tried using several RF cables, but none of them could produce a picture, on any of my TV:s (OLED, LCD & CRT), just a VERY weak signal, so I could make out a faint Atari Logo, in the static. Ordered a RGB Scart cable, and decided for now, to just clean the console. Except for some dust around the cartridge port, it looked brand new inside. Same for the controller. But to my question, does the D-pad on all the standard Jaguar controllers (grey button keys on mine) have such little travel, when you push down the directions? Probably the most stiff pad I've ever used, as it feels like it won't be able to register directions very well. I opened up the controller, and noticed the red pivot, under the d-pad. Is the screw attached to it, supposed to be tightened all the way, or should it be a bit loose? Seems like you're supposed to be able to adjust it. But no matter what, the D-pad's still got very shallow travel, compared to other controllers. Hope the RGB cable arrives soon, so I can finally test the controller. Maybe this is just how it is, and it still registers well? This will be my first time, using a Jaguar (never found one, back in the 90:s), so it's all new to me. And sorry if this question has already been asked about a billion times before. 🥴
  3. I got the game as a VERY early X-mas present, from my girlfriend. Using a composite modded 2600, and I was worried that my OSSC+Koryuu (connected to a LG OLED) would loose sync, since the screen seems to jump/glitch when entering a new screen, from some clips I've seen on youtube. But it's been flawless. No jump/glitches, just smooth transitions, to the next screen. And the flickering sprites, don't cause any issues either. Just to letting people (with the same setup) know, that there is no video issues happening.
  4. I was about to order a Cybermorph cartridge, until I saw the price of shipping to Sweden. Lowest was $28... 😮 How can something, that weighs almost nothing, be that expensive to ship? 😓 Last time I ordered (a few years back), I only payed $22.50, for three boxed 2600 homebrews, which weighs a lot more. Has the postal services gone insane in the US?? In comparison, if I would ship a cartridge to the US, it only costs about $10.
  5. Aha, I thought it was all PAL carts. Thanks for the info.
  6. I'll probably pick up and AV mod an original 7800 instead. I already got my original AV modded 2600 connected through an OSSC. The 2600+ just got too many issues with PAL carts. Maybe they can fix this, but I don't wanna risk getting a console, which might end up being stuck with these issues, forever.
  7. Instead of the 4:3/16:9 switch, why didn't they make it a switch for Pal and NTSC instead? Since this console was made to be released all over the world, they must have known, that the colors (and other issues) are messed up, if you play a NTSC cart on PAL, and the other way around. This has been a well known issue, for a long time. The console uses Stella, right? Why not offer an optional firmware, that changes the aspect ratio switch, to a region switch?
  8. I canceled my 2600+ order, due to the problems with Pal and 7800 games. I already got a composite modded Pal 2600, connected through a scaler, so I'll survive. Good to know about the exchange. I'll contact him. Thanks for the info
  9. I cancelled my order. I mainly wanted it to play Pal 7800 games. And 90 procent of my 2600 carts, are Pal. Also, I bought the new Berzerk cartridge. It's the European release, since it has the EU age ratings on the box. But when I play the cart on my Pal 2600 console. The colors are messed up. I thought this was a Pal version? But I guess they just put the NTSC version in the European boxes... This entire release have become a huge letdown... I hope they can add proper Pal support on the 2600+. But the Berzerk carts, well, I guess I'm stuck with the wrong colors... I found a youtube video, that shows the same wrong colors, from this release, on a Pal console. I include a screenshot.
  10. Don't buy this shitty product. It can't even run the NES roms properly, without frameskips and screen tearing.
  11. My package arrived last week. It's just unreal, that the game is running on an Atari 2600. My mind is blown, and so are my friends Love it! Amazing job!
  12. Have the game started to ship yet?
  13. Thanks for the ROM. This is AMAZING! I can't wait for my cart to arrive Great job!
  14. That he is So happy about getting the machine to work. Playing Moon Patrol and Missile Command again, after two decades, are glorious
  15. Thanks for the info I got to borrow a power supply from a friend, and the computer works fine now Going to let him take a closer look at my power supply, and try to fix it. Hopefully it's just some bad capacitors. Otherwise, I'll just buy another one.
