Breaking news: Intellivision flashback coming to retail
moonlight_mile replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Not sure if anyone noticed but I did a google search for INTV FLashback (I am impatiently waiting for my SAMs to get them in) and my local Bed Bath and Beyond has the standard version. I only mention this because it is $39.99 and if you have any of the coupons Bb&b send out you can get $5 or 20% off, depending what coupon you have. -

Just called my SAMS. Nadda. They aren't sure when they are coming in. Though they weren't willing to look anything up in their system. [emoji31] -

Atari ST Component Video Adapter - FINISHED!
moonlight_mile replied to Kjmann's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
First Thing, can we get pics of the actual device? Next, I will definitely be getting this. I am hoping one of the two older lcd televisions I have works. (I have a 1040 STF). If not I am not against getting a little 13-15 inch tv from 220-electronics. I got my ST last summer with a 1224 monitor. But due to the age of the system and the fact that the monitor and system came from Oregon to Pennsylvania (it was packed really well but just the mere jostling from the USPS could cause an issue), I am paranoid my monitor is going to die, and then (since it is an STF) I will be SOL. I have been looking on the net for a US STE. But these seem to be very rare. The STE would probably solve my no RF modulator issue, but I haven't come across one yet. A few UK ones, but I really don't want to deal with PAL only and the Voltage conversion. I have an HXC and an ultra satan so I can run most everything with my 1040 STF. Just looking for some insurance for the monitor issue. Another question, on a number of the menu disks available on the net actually have an option for 50/60mhz. Would this be a solve all or the PAL format issue? Just wondering. Thanks for the great work and great Information. -

Mattel Armor attack and CDS Running Man
moonlight_mile replied to evg2000's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I almost remember those. One of my fav Mattel electronics games (besides the handheld) was the dungeon and dragons game. ( the one that was in a square shape sort of like a castle. Not the handheld one) I spent many hours playing that one. -

Breaking news: Intellivision flashback coming to retail
moonlight_mile replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
If they are pushing up the reviews, would it not be advisable for them to push up the release date. If they get a bad review ( not that it is going to happen) but that could cause the flashback to be DOA when it is fully released. In my limited marketing knowledge it would be better to have the units out prior to the reviews to ward off such a disaster. Just thinking out loud. -

I have subscribed to this topic and read all the pages. I don't remember this being addressed so.... Is the flashback going to have any issues displaying on an LCD tv? -
Glad it worked out for you.

I always had trouble getting the jzintv command line stuff to work. There is a front end for it out there. It works most of the time but hangs once the rom/bin is loaded. It is called GUIINTV. I found it on a forum.

I think it might have been nurmix that build the adapter. And it sound like it was just changing the pin locations. But I could be wrong. -
