  1. It's been a while guys! Just wanted to post the new episode. It was pretty unique in that it was mostly just myself and Vic from Ten Pence Arcade talking about obscure arcade games. It also gave me a nice excuse to play the Chubby Checker version of "Dig Dug" in an episode along with an obscure Space Invaders song. I even threw in an easter egg if someone listens to one of those songs close enough... http://retroobscura.podomatic.com/entry/2014-09-06T10_37_18-07_00
  2. Haha RJ! I'm not sure if this was a compliment or not, but I'll take it. Thanks Cynicaster! We're always looking for feedback. Thanks for listening.
  3. Hey guys. I posted a little about our show on the "2 worthy podcasts" thread, but I figured I'd post about it here. We're a family friendly retro podcast which focuses on the underrated, unknown, and horrible pieces of our favorite hobby. Our latest Atari themed episode features an interview with Nolan Bushnell and a special video game high score challenge against Ferg from the Atari 2600 Game By Game Podcast on classic game Space Invaders. Episode 28: Have you played Atari today? Feat. Ferg and NOLAN BUSHNELL http://retroobscura.podomatic.com/entry/2014-07-12T22_24_58-07_00
  4. Thanks Paul - I made sure to give you guys credit when possible if I was asking a question I heard on your cast! Also - here's part two if you couldn't find it: http://retroobscura.podomatic.com/entry/2014-07-03T23_46_42-07_00
  5. Hey guys - Aaron here from the Retro Obscura Podcast. I'm also the composer of the music you hear in the Colecovisions podcast...and you might even hear my contributions to the Intellivisionaries podcast in the near future! Glad to be here among friends and good company! Over on the Retro Obscura Podcast we recently (in episode 24) had 2 out of 3 of the Intellivisionaries guest on our show. Nurmix was otherwise occupied, but we forgive him! And I fully admit to not growing up with the Intellivision, but thankfully 3 out of the 5 people on that episode did! On Episode 26 I got to interview Keith Robinson about Intellivision stuff and even non Intellivision stuff(!) like his very underrated game Normy's Beach Babe O'Rama on the Sega Genesis and his involvement with the Star Wars Holiday Special (he turned a knob, basically) among other things. I'm also happy to report, our next episode will feature an interview with that guy who founded some company named Axlon.
