Hi I know this is an old thread but ive dug out the STe with my netusbee and i have a 1gig usb stick that im trying to partition... Im using hddriver v.7.51 I'm able to get a partition C on the stick and it shows on the desktop but any other partitions i created in Hddriver do not show? I have managed to create 4 or 5 partitions but when rebooting the C drive appears but i have to click installed devices for the other partitions to show? I rename then HARD DISK as there named devices. So after changing the drive names to HARD DISK I then click save desktop but on rebooting i only get C drive showing? Ive tried with only 2 partitions and ive tried with 4 or 5 partitions all the same results? How do i keep the paritions on the desktop after rebooting? In HDDRIVER I have clicked Tos compatible because if i click DOS it only accepts 1 partition? OK I have dont it!!!!! I had to have the new desktop ini file on the netusbee boot disk ! It was saving to the usb stick so i copied over to the floppy boot disk and hey presto!! Now the next challenge is when inserting the usb stick in windows 10 its asking to be formatted? I thought i could swap the usb stick from St to pc for file transfer? I chose TOS in compatibilty? If choosing DOS+TOS it only suggests 1 partition on the usb stick which is a 1gig stick im using the highest TOS for Ste

Hi ive downloaded putniks 1gb image and i have an sd card for my asci2st thats already partitioned in to 3 c,d,e How do i get the demos and games from the downloaed image to the sd card for the st?

Im using a crt portable tv via scart...the cable is retro computer shack scart cable so it's well made.. I'm running the cable from ste monitor port to scart on portable tv.. It's only the floppy disc icons that are affected not the rest of the screen like text? Running through the netusbee when using usb mouse etc..the screen is immaculate perfect?

Hi I have my atari ste 4mb which works great. On my crt tv the green desktop is ok apart from fuzzy icons and text? Ive not ruled out the tv but whats making me think its not the tv is because games look correct ? its only the green desktop icons/letters? I have installed my netusbee and loaded the driver disk up and the desktop is PERFECT! ???? The green desktop is absolutely perfect? nice rich green colour and the icons are perfect? but going back the standard desktop on the STE its fuzzy? Do i need something doing to the ste's video output to improved things? I have to add the black text when loading up the netusbee driver disk is perfect too? but when opening the mouse.txt the letters are kind of leaning towards the right but the -End of File- message is perfect?

Hi Doctor, I have done all this? Latest firmware on ultimate 1mb the fujinet latest firmware and the power cable is working. In spartados i boot and the orange light lights up on the fujinet but then when i press reset and type FMALL nothing I get 138 Device does not respond The external fujinet works great on my other ultimate setups? and the fujinet 1.5 works great on the 600xl? so whats confusing is why the external one does not? Ive emailed Jakub at retrolemon and he suggested trying a cable for power which im already doing? In web settings ive tried changing the wait status... nothing seems to make it boot? as i say the orange light lights up on the fujinet which means communciation is happening from the atari to fujinet? Ive flashed the ultimate with the latest firmware from jazz's site and all is well so i am asking do i need to flash the ultimate with a firmware to combine ultimate/fujinet ?

Hi can someone help? Ive got an external fujinet i think 1.7? it works great on my atari's except i cant get it to boot on my 600xl/ ultimate 1mb machine? My other ataris have ultimate 1mb and it works great on them? I have the small 1.5 versions and they work great on the 600xl but not this external one? I have flashed the latest firmware on the fujinet and ive tried in spartados FMALL and reset the fujinet? All i seem to get is the far right light lights up orange when ever i try FMALL or CONFIG or even DIR in spartados? So theres nothing wrong with the SIO cable as ive tested with a 1050 drive and sdrive max? Ive also tried settings in the web config and still nothing? Only thing is the orange light lights up? Ive tried doing the serial debug output and its not doing anything? Im on serial device 7 i press serial debug then reset on the fujinet and nothing shows? The usb cable works great for flashing so i know its not that? but the main concern is why wont it boot on my 600xl but will on other ataris? Yet the 1.5 fujinet works great with same latest firmware? What does 140 SIO framing error mean ?

Hi Jazzcat, Please can you help? I have updated my ultimate 1mb to the the new 4.2 which is working. I have also update the side3 cart to the latest 0.69. Now the thing is the side 3cart has stopped working ? When the cart is inserted its showing no device and the menu function is very sticky and slow moving? I have used the same cart 3 in another ultimate 1mb atari with out the 4.2 update and the cart is working? I have reflashed the ultimate 1mb again and reflashed the side 3 cart again and its still not working or showing my sd card? Have i done something wrong? On Ultimate bios version 2.20 in the systems settings under boot to loader there is SIDE Cart ROM greyed out Disabled? Has this got to do with the problem?

Hi Mr Robot, Is it possible to use ethernet in the raspberry pi oppose to the wifi settings? Ive plugged in an ethernet cable and all is lit up and on booting its given me 2 ip address's the last one being the wifi ip? Can i change from wifi to etherent in the tnfs server?

HUURRAAAY DONE IT!!! I had to go in to the Samba settings on windows10 and put a tick in the Samba 1.0 client and voila now the TNFS appears in network and ive put hero atr in there and its working on the fujinet Wow using a raspberry pi is easier than setting up on daft windows10 .

Hi Mr Robot, I've got the pi connected to my windows and on the fujinet its working obviously with an empty as theres no Atr's in there yet . I've also check in my router in connected devices under wifi and the tnfs is there working but i can not find it in windows? Ive gone to network and i see the connected devices connected but theres no rasp pi/ip address? I'm stuck now as to where to put the Atr's on the pc? Ive redone the sd card a few times and its not showing in the network on pc but yet its working on the fujinet?

Hi Mr Robot, Cheers for your reply, Ive finally achieved the setup. Once i found the wpa_supplicant.config file i used Visual studio code to edit the file and entered my SSID and Password. Once the sd card was in the pi booting i could see i was online and i found the pi's IP address. So now ive entered the pi's IP on the fujinet its working great. Only thing is i get an empty message which means there's no Atr's etc.. Thats where i got confused as to where the Atr's go? So now you've told me to go to network on the Win10 I'll go try. Hi Mr Robot, Please can you assist me on setting up the sd card image you've created for the raspberry pi. Ive followed your instructions and now ive finally found the wpa_supplicant.config file. Ive also change the network settings to my SSID and Password and saved before transferring the sd card to the raspberri pi3b. On booting i see the network is online then i have to login so i entered tnfs and pi as password. Now thats as far as i get? Im not sure if its on my network and in my list there is some unknown with an ip address but not sure what im looking for? Also on the sd card mine has 2 partitions , 1 for the d:BOOT and the other is f:empty So do i put atari xl atr's in that part of the sd card ? and what ip address do i enter in the TNFS host list on the fujinet? Does the rasp pi know that there is the 2nd partition with the atr's? and accessing them from the atari???? I did ONCE get this TNFS server up and running on my windows10 and it worked like a charm but i reset the router and lost what settings i put in there but although i have done this over and over again to the letter ive given up on windows10 . So now as it appears simpler to use a rasp pi i thought id have a go at that but its not so plug and play? please can you help what i am to do with the log in stage on the pi and what do i enter on the fujinet to access the atr's and where do i put the atr's for the fujinet to see them? Thank you just checked in my router and the raspberry pis ip address is there online... So i know thats ok but not sure where the atr's go on the sd card the F:drive has gone now?

Hi Mozzwald, Do you know if you will be supplying retrolemon in the UK with version 1.6 ? I don't know whether retrolemon gets them from Lotherak or yourself?

May i say the micro usb socket needs making more solid its very delicate and as i leave the cable in so no unplugging/pluggin in the port is sometimes touch and go? Also in a next gen fujinet maybe 1.7 could there be an ethernet socket for a wired connection?

Its COOL ive done it!!! I used the mouse.prg from netusbee 04 replaced it in the auto folder on the floppy and now its installed with no API mismatch and the mouse is WORKING!!!! YIPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Hi I have succesfully used the St file image attached and got a few usb sticks all working great on the netusbee, Now i want to try my usb mouse? I have put a mouse prg in the auto folder on the disk and when booting i can see it installed the usb mouse driver ok and its detected my mouse but on the desktop the mouse is lit up red but not working? At the end of the drivers install script on the boot disk at the end it states mouse API mismatch? What does that mean? I have used the mouse.prg from the netUSBee 05 driver pack so will i have to use the NetUSBee 04 driver pack?

Hi Ive got my boot disk all setup with my usb stick working and on booting i see the core and drivers installed ive also included the mouse prg so now i see the mouse driver is installed and its detected my usb mouse but the mouse is not working when on the desktop? In the list on the boot disk its all looking good so is it a case of some usb mouse work and some don't ? even though its detected it in my drivers installed? I get API mismatch after all drivers have loaded? and states everything is ok?

Transferring big files like a demo using UIPV3 is soooo slow and when running a demo directly off the usb stick(C drive) on the Atari STe for example KAKOMILO which is very good its ok at first running off the usb stick then it slows then stops whilst loading more off the usb stick then carries on playing then slows and can get choppy but it does work. Obviously the transfer rate from USB stick via NetUSBee is not very fast Can't complain as using the NetUSBee with usb storage is good for quick file transfer from pc to ST not UIPV3 with big files. smaller transfers using UIPV3 is pretty fast to your C drive on ST but big stuff you might as well plug the stick in the pc do your transfer and put back in the NetUSBee .

WHAAAAOOOO I finally done it I used HHDriver V7.51 and i found a 1GB usb stick that works with the NetUSBee . In HHD utility i had to partition the 1GB stick as a whole partition with TOS+DOS ticked. I got a C folder on the desktop along A and B floppy. I did try to create small partitions on the stick but TOS+DOS enabled would not let me it had to be the 1 partition? So anyway i got a C folder and transferring stuff from the Windows10 to STe is much simpler than using UIPV3. I used the zip image from this forum and i had to alter the dekstop inf to just have the 1 C partition but before i did use the TOS+DOS i did do small partitions on the usb stick but only in TOS which had all the folders that was on the zip image but i could not use on Windows10 so i opted for the 1 partition on a 1GB stick. Im going to purchase Petra Putniks full driver package and find a bigger usb stick like 4GB thats ok with NetUSBee. If i'd not found the HDDriver V7.51 i would not have got this far Update... I take it back about using usb stick to transfer instead of UIPV3 .... I used UIPV3 installed on the ST C drive and then transfer a bunch of files in 1 go from pc to C and it flies like mad So quick its flashed before my eyes.... UIPV3 on ST usb drive then from pc to the usb stick is mega fast!
